1 SPOT LEFT!! Intro to Agility Flatwork - Level 1
Agility can be a very fun and exciting sport, it helps build confidence, strengthen the relationship with your dog and gives both a mental and physical outlet. If you would like to leanr how to start out the best way for the most fun and success, check out this intro to agility flatwork class starting this week on April 23rd at 5:00 PM.
Many more agility courses are becoming more wide and open, with obstacles placed in ways that allow the dog to open up and run. The judges often create challenges where you’ll actually benefit a lot from being able to send your dog away from you while you position yourself for the other parts of the course. Which means you are having the dog complete obstacles independently, without being close to support them!
Many handlers feel that they are not fast enough to handle their dogs on a course. This class will focus on the independance potion needed for these courses so that you can handle your dog on these big, open course with distance. We will discuss the dogs point of view and how we can use that to build distance.
