🌟NALA🌟 came to KK9 because she was struggling with her young human sibling. Their relationship quickly resolved with a few tricks! Then, Nala learned about door reactivity. She barked and barked at the door bell, sometimes waking her young sibling from a nap. But, she learned some alternative strategies! She mastered her place, too! I loved working with this cutie and her family! 🧡

🌟BEAU🌟 came to Dog Days of Summer and visited our booth! If you knew Beau a year ago, you would never recognize him today! Not only has his health improved, but his behavior has too! He is considerably less reactive to dogs! There were so many dogs at the Dog Days of Summer event, and Beau did great! He didn't have any big reactions, dogs got close to him and he listened to his mom! Beau's world has gotten so much bigger because his mom helped him learn to he brave and confident! So proud of Beau! ❤️

🌟HUCK🌟 is a sweet hound learning about resource guarding and reactivity. Resource guarding is tricky because as domesticated dogs, us humans will make sure they have everything they need, but our dogs still guard these things. We can help them learn that there is no need to protect their food bowl or their toys, but often, management is key here!

🌟TANK🌟 is new to his forever family and can be unpredictable on the leash. Sometimes he is very concerned about other dogs and rabbits. We are helping him learn to walk nicely on the leash ans not pull towards dogs and rodents. He is so mellow and sweet and handsome!

Kay here. I am so excited to teach our August Drink and Train at Crooked Beech Brewery! We are so grateful for their warm welcome. Hooray for community collaborations!

The front porch is a place to enjoy a laugh with friends and family. It is a place to chat about the events of the day, watch the kids play in the front yard, and discuss plans for the future. It is also a place to relax, listen to music, and enjoy a cold beer. We'll save a chair for you!

🌟SMOKEY🌟 was most improved in our last Hike and Train class! He learned all about being a good boy on the trail with the help of his dedicated family and trusty ball. He loves the long line and the water! Smokey taught us about enjoying the moment ❤️ We loved having Smokey and his family in class!
