ISO Barn Help
We are looking to hire a responsible & hard working horse lover that has experience with horses. We already have a great team but are looking to add one more person!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Capable of Catching & Leading horses
- Cleaning Stalls & Paddocks
- Cleaning Waterers as needed
- Feeding horses their specific diets
- Give meds as needed
- Have your own transportation
- Be reliable, responsible & hard working
I pay DOE and this can be discussed for the right person. When the schedule is set, we do ask that you are reliable to show up & do your duties - rain or shine - snow or wind. This is Colorado & the weather changes frequently.
Schedule may include some morning & evening positions.
If interested, we do have more work for the right person including but not limited to cleaning the bunny barn, landscaping, fence repair, etc.

Sweet Queso is looking for a new 🏡! She is 10 and has been with us for almost 2 years, in her time here she has been handled for children’s camps, had regular and routine vet and farrier care and has been saddled and ridden a little bit. She is still only green broke only because she’s small enough that I don’t have many kiddos that fit her. I would trust her as a lead line pony at this point. She would probably do well giving pony rides. She’s a quiet easy to handle mare. She is 11 hands and a medium build - not stocky. Her ideal rider is less then 5’4” tall and of slender build. I would be open to a trade as well.

Meadow’s Stick Horse

When you’re stuck inside because the air quality is horrible outside, you take your toddler to help give the horses some entertainment for the day!

Rip has been cooped up for two weeks recovering from two huge puncture wounds from a raptor 🦅 attack! He’s finally back to his normal routine!

Last Sunday, barn favorite Zen was playing and injured himself. The vet has confirmed an injured Lateral Suspensory Branch of his right hind leg. He's 3/5 lame and the recommendation is 12 weeks of rest, at least the first two weeks on stall rest, cold hosing / ice treatments 2x per day, Stable Bandages at night, only two five minute walks a day. In addition, it is recommended to do 3 treatments of Shockwave Therapy, laser therapy and an injection. This is going to be quite costly for him, but he is expected to make a full recovery. To help with the costs, I am going to be offering several things on here coming soon! Including, but not limited to logo design, photography and clinics. (I was thinking of maybe offering a braiding clinic, if that would interest anyone?) Kayln, his long time leasor, will be helping me and is also going to be selling horse treats to anyone interested!
