Get to know Equine Territory Manager, Becky Hinz!

Growing up in Baraboo, WI (aka Circus Town USA), a small town in south central Wisconsin, Becky Hinz developed a love of horses from an early age, showing 4-H, open and AQHA supported shows throughout her high school years.

After an internship at Wisconsin Equine Clinic & Hospital in Oconomowoc, WI, Becky was head technician for the reproductive department for 14 years, specializing in stallion and mare management, stallion collections, semen processing (cooled and frozen), as well as frozen semen management in mares.

Eventually, after working all throughout the Midwest, Becky was approached by Minitube USA to be their sole Equine National Account manager working out of Verona, WI. Two years later she accepted a position with Patterson Veterinary as Equine Territory Manager.

When not working she enjoys hiking and hunting with her boyfriend, Jim, and their two dogs.

When Patterson employee, Suzanne Andrews, posted a video of her older horses romping in the snow in what she refers to as, "the retirement home", we knew we had to callback to our Cold Weather Care article.

With winter storms making their way across the country, now is a good time to make sure you're doing what you can for our equine friends so they can be has happy as Justin, Howdy, and Fat Ernie (ages 20, 20, and 30) are playing in the snow.
