Sweet Brook gave us quite a scare after swallowing a needle! 🩷 Our ER team jumped into action, and our Internal Medicine team first attempted to remove it with an endoscopy. When that revealed the needle was through the stomach wall, our Surgery team stepped in—and the procedure was a success! Brook is now home with her loving family, healing like a champ. 💕

Dory has been visiting our Oncology team for rechecks after her mast cell tumor treatment, and she’s been doing amazing! 💕 Her tumor site has healed beautifully, and she’s feeling great. 🩷

✨ Meet Guinevere! ✨

This sweet girl visited our ER after experiencing vomiting. Imaging revealed a GI obstruction that wasn’t moving with supportive care, so our surgery team stepped in to remove the foreign body. Guinevere handled the procedure like a champ and has been recovering at home with her loving family.

She recently came back for a recheck and is healing beautifully! We’re so happy to see her doing well. 💕

🌟 We're thrilled to welcome Dr. Kelly McCord to the Four Seasons family! 🌟

Starting Monday, Dr. McCord will join our internal medicine team, bringing a wealth of experience in small animal medicine and special interests in hepatic, gastrointestinal, autoimmune, and infectious diseases.

A Northern Colorado native, Dr. McCord earned his DVM and completed his residency at CSU, along with a Master of Clinical Science degree. He's a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Small Animal Internal Medicine) and spent over a decade practicing in the Pacific Northwest — even serving as the on-call internist for the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, treating everything from polar bears to clouded leopards!

Now back in his hometown, he's excited to work alongside our team and continue providing exceptional care for pets and their families.

Outside of work, Dr. McCord shares his home with a cerebellar hypoplasia cat (Twitch), a Rhodesian Ridgeback (Sequoia), two black Labs (Seeker and Sully), two Chihuahuas (Peter and Penny), and lots of fish. When he's not caring for animals, you might find him gardening, kayaking, skiing, or even playing the flute.

Say hello to the adorable Mr. Biggs! He recently visited our Internal Medicine team after experiencing some sneezing episodes at home. We performed a retroflex of his nose and tested for any bacterial growth — and now, with the right medication, his symptoms are under control. Of course, what is his favorite part of every visit? Playing and perfecting his biscuit-making skills! 🐾❤️

Sweet Ruby came to our ER after her family noticed a cut on her chin. Our team sedated her, carefully cleaned the wound, and sutured it closed. She soaked up all the cuddle time with veterinary assistant Katie and was the best patient! Now, she’s back home with her loving family and on her way to a full recovery. 💖
