ices include: Parrot breeding, Birdy Boarding (aka Bird Camp!), DNA s*x testing, Bird Grooming Events, PACFA certified Bird Shelter, and Bird Rehabilitation and Rehoming. Some we breed, some we hand-raise that are bred by other trusted breeders, and some we have rescued/purchased/acquired to love and rehome. We may have any of the following: Budgies/Parakeets, Canaries, Finch, Cockatiels, Conures, Eclectus, Pionus, Poicephalus, African Greys, Amazons, Caiques, Indian Ringnecks, Kakariki, Cockatoos, Macaws (Mini to XXL), and more. We have 3 baby Red-Crowned Amazons who are weaning and will be ready to fly the coop to their forever homes very soon. These birds are sweet, social, smart, playful, and talkative. They are doing amazingly well flying to us when we recall them, and even enjoy meeting new people.

Keep in mind that these amazons can live over 50 years and will need to be in homes where they can come out, fly, play, and interact with their families.

If you would like to meet them, come by our store during business hours. They love attention.

Please note that we do not ship parrots anymore.

Our diverse, nutritionally dense, chop is made fresh twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

We spend hours cleaning, chopping, prepping, mixing, and portioning out the best chop so you don't have to, and we offer it in 1/4lb, 1/2lb, and 1lb bags for tiny birds and large birds.

From Canaries to Macaws, they all love it, and best of all it's so healthy for them!

For anyone evacuating the fires (Alexander Mountain Fire, Stone Canyon, Etc.), with birds: You are welcome to bring them to Avalon Aviary Bird Store.

We will board them for free. If possible, please call: 970-663-5004 so we can prepare for your bird(s) arrival.

He was lost in Estes Park.
This occurred about 5 days ago when his owner was out of town and someone else was watching the bird.
He is very missed, very well taken care of and very loved. He is also very likely to go to another person because he was socialized and friendly.
