Wonderful Wendy was found by herself and met us on 07/31/2024 for a first-time visit to ensure she is healthy since she is away from her mom being so young.
She was a very brave girl and took all her energy out on her avocado during her visit :) 🥑
Having such a young kitten in the clinic sure brings a lot of joy and love around.

A little while ago we had a visit with a cat named Yurij. He was very brave for his exam and blood draw. After he earned a treat from the coffee shop! Check out this cutie eating his treat!

We have quite a few boarders here for evacuation and if things change and more mandatory evacuation areas proceed to your homes, please feel free to reach out for boarding we currently still have a few kennels left.

Hello to our wonderful clients.
You may already know about the sad news on Alexander Mountain starting yesterday in the late morning.
This fire is approximately 10 miles from our clinic but we are in the safe zone however, the smoke is very thick around our clinic. Please be careful if you have upper respiratory concerns while living around this area or need to travel close to the smokey areas.
Any cat of yours that is being affected by the smoke please get in touch with us so we can make sure your pet is safe.
Keep all windows closed and if possible use an air purifier to help.

UPDATE ON DALLAS:
Well folks, she was the first one of the litter to walk and explore and the most independent, but now she is the last to be adopted.....Dallas is still looking for someone to make her their own.... Could you be her new mommy or daddy? She is now 13 weeks old and she is looking more and more like a little ginger tiger with beautiful distinct stripes throughout - see newest pix-. She is now alone without her siblings at her foster home and pretty soon will be too large for her elderly foster mom to keep her there. Won't you please consider adding her to your family? We need your help finding this sweet boy a home. He currently is living in a happy and loving home, however, he is a cable chewer. His current owners are having a hard time keeping him away from the cable snakes. 🔌🐍
He's 8 months old, and he's extremely cuddly, likes to chat with you, and is used to other cats and small dogs. He's also super playful and wants to be wherever you are.

We are so thankful for all your support and kindness over the years, especially during Pickles' passing. Pickles loved our clients and always enjoyed getting head scratches when clients came in. We miss Pickles every day. ❤

Please meet Dallas and Denver! A sister, brother duo looking for a forever home.
These two were born on tax day with a couple other siblings to a wonderful calico mommy named Poppy and have been living with a loving foster in Arvada the entire time and now are old enough to sprout their wings and fly the coop! Dallas, the ginger tabby girl is fearless and was the first of the litter to walk, explore, talk to humans, climb out of her kitty pen and jump to the window to watch the birds. She is fearless! Denver, her white and ginger brother-and only boy of the litter, is a little on the shy side and heavily relies on his sister for guidance and companionship so in a best case scenario we would love to see them get adopted together (as their siblings were) so they can always have each other. He is a quiet little guy who seems to like a lap to nap but will come out of his shell with his sister and will play his little heart out all day with her. Both are love bugs and have brought so much joy to their foster mommy. We are looking for experienced cat owners who will keep them indoors only and give them all the love in the world that they deserve.
They are registered officially with a rescue who has had them checked out by a vet, dewormed, vaccinated and neutered/spayed so they are super healthy and ready to go. The adoption fee to the rescue is $195 each to cover those costs, but a discount will be applied if you are taking them both together.
They are currently in Arvada in foster care for meet and greets in person or via facetime or one can be arranged to your home.

It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to our beloved Pickles due to her declining health.
She joined For the Love of Cats' team in 2018 since she loved being around our clients and staff.
Her favorite activities were napping in the sunshine, sitting by the front desk greeting clients, hanging out with Dr. Thomas at the end of the day, and eating her Temptations.
We loved her so much and we will miss her dearly.

Check out Noodle! Holding him for his exam was a lot like restraining a noodle. He was a bit of a wiggles and a very sweet guy! Look at how polite and content he is sitting while we went over his go home instructions! Such a sweet cat!

Bagheera visited us on Monday! It was so nice to see him! He was purr-fect for his exam. He is too charming; we could not resist getting a picture of him. Here you can see a sweet little baby Bagheera from a picture taken 9 years ago when he was only 25 days old and less than 1 lb.

Meet Odin. Odin is a Norwegian Forest Cat. According to Norse Mythology Odin is the ruler of Valhalla; a place of fallen warriors. He is a wanderer of the universe in search of wisdom. Odin is a grand cat that stands up to his name and he was a treat to work with. The picture we captured was taken on the day we needed to take a blood sample for pre-anesthetic bloodwork. He was the bravest cat.
