Help Us Find Stevie Her Forever Home! 🏡

Hello everyone! We need your help finding this sweet girl her forever home! 🐱

Meet Stevie, a 1.5–2-year-old kitty who has been in foster care with Lasting Paws for just over a year. Stevie has mobility issues due to Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which can sometimes result in inconsistency when using the litter box, so she may need some extra clean-up. Despite this, she’s an incredibly loving, cuddly, and playful little thing.

Stevie does not get along well with other cats, but she is very sociable with people of all ages. She stays on the ground and must be handled with care, as she cannot jump onto chairs or other surfaces. If she’s placed on furniture, it should be done with diligent supervision. Stevie loves to sit in the sun, bat at little flies, play with wand toys, and, of course, get lots of head scratches!

Lasting Paws needs to rehome Stevie as soon as possible, with a deadline of next Saturday, the 11th.

Happy Holidays! For The Love of Cats Veterinary Clinic will be open Christmas Eve 7:30 am to 1 pm and will be closed Christmas Day. We return to normal hours 12/26/24 and we are open 7:30 am to 6 pm.

Normal week hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. However, Christmas Eve, we are open 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Christmas Day, we are closed.

Meet Ash!!
He is the handsomest and bravest boy ever! He sadly had a vaccine reaction on one of his first vaccines, but he is now doing super great!
Some kitties have vaccines reactions, and we give some medications to help alleviate the reaction and keep them safe!

On October 5th, 2024, our team attended the 26th Annual NOCO Humane Top Cat & Tails Gala, “Bark to the Future.” It was a wonderful and fun evening celebrating the commitment to animal welfare.
From heartwarming rescue stories to the tireless efforts of volunteers, the event showcased the community’s dedication to helping animals find their forever homes. We were thrilled to support such a vital cause and connect with fellow animal lovers.
As we enjoyed the festivities, we couldn’t help but feel excited for the future. Here’s to the next gala and a world where every animal finds love and a forever home! ❤

Three weeks ago, a kitten with two fractured front leg bones was entrusted to our care. For The Love of Cats assumed responsibility for his medical needs, and we have been delighted to provide a nurturing environment. Throughout his cast changes and x-ray procedures, he has demonstrated remarkable courage. Pictured alongside Veterinary Assistant Kimmie is Freddy.

🐈‍⬛ Soley Bear came in for a wellness exam and he was hiding his beautiful undercoat that is all white! During his exam, a comb came out and he loved his brush time :) he accumulated so much hair that a Soley Bear hat what made!

This little guy is Mochi! He had his first visit with us last week and was a very brave kitty! He was recently welcomed into a new family and we are happy he has found his purr-fect forever home. He already knows how to pose for pictures. Pictured here with Dr. Hernandez.

Wonderful Wendy was found by herself and met us on 07/31/2024 for a first-time visit to ensure she is healthy since she is away from her mom being so young.
She was a very brave girl and took all her energy out on her avocado during her visit :) 🥑
Having such a young kitten in the clinic sure brings a lot of joy and love around.
