Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue, Inc. We are located in Northern Colorado and hold adoption events usually in Loveland, CO.

We are an all volunteer, all breed, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue dedicated to rescuing dogs from high volume shelters and finding them permanent, loving homes. We are a 501(c)(3) dog rescue dedicated to getting dogs out of shelters and into loving homes! All dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (over a year) and microchipped. All of our dogs are in foster homes awaiting their forever families to find them.

Meet Phoebe! This approximately 8 month old incredibly loving girl is ready for her forever home.
She absolutely loves people and being the center of your attention and starts making biscuits as soon as she sees you. She loves a cuddly soft bed as well.
Phoebe has loved everyone she’s met and has been great with her foster’s 5yr old daughter.
She is living with other cats currently but may need a slower introduction to any new cats to ensure success in the future. Phoebe is still unsure of the cat friendly dogs in her foster home and is happiest when they ignore her.
Phoebe is going to make a family very lucky as she will shower them with all her love and attention!

This sweet girl is affectionate and outgoing. She does have a Grade 4 Medial Luxating Patella and we are trying to decide what the course of action is for her. This adorable little girl (46 lbs) is Meeka! Meeka loves everyone she meets, human or canine! She has done well around children and does not seem interested in the cats. Meeka is working on manners and obedience training. She is crate trained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Meeka would make an amazing addition to most any family and would love to join you on your adventures!

Meet HARPER!! This sweet girl has come a long way since being abandoned by her previous owners! She is a very loving 5 mo. old German Shepherd (mix). She loves meeting new people but can be a little nervous around new dogs until she feels safe. She is learning to play with other dogs and has done very well with proper introductions. She has been around several cats and has not been bothered by them.

Harper does have an old eye injury. We are treating it, but we are not sure whether it will improve or not. She may have some sight issues with that eye, but she gets along just fine and is a happy girl.

She is crate trained, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Harper is working on manners and basic obedience training and is coming along well.

Harper will need a 6 foot fence due to her amazing agility skills! This girl would make a loyal companion to any new family who can give her the training and love she deserves!

Harper is currently being fostered in Byers, Colorado, where she is receiving training at Abel Ranch K9 Academy.

Handsome, smart, loyal and the sweetest boy ever describes this 1.5 yr. old German Shepherd mix named ONYX! Onyx loves to play with other dogs and any human he meets! He is not bothered by the cats he has encountered either. This gentle giant will win the heart of anyone that has the pleasure of meeting him. He is learning his basic obedience and is very willing to please. He loves new challenges! Onyx can be a little shy initially must warms up very quickly when meeting new people. Onyx is crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

This amazing boy is the perfect addition to a family looking for a loyal dog who won't leave your side.

Meet AXEL! This amazing, loyal and gorgeous boy is a 1.5 yr old German Shepherd (mix?). He is well on his way with his obedience training and loves to learn! Axel likes to act tough behind a barrier, but once you get to know him, he is the sweetest companion ever! He didn't know how to play with other dogs when he came to us, but has made several new canine companions and is learning to play well with others.

Axel exhibits all the qualities of a German Shepherd - smart, loyal, and only wants to please. He is crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
This boy will make an amazing additional to anyone looking for the most loyal dog ever!

MEET SHADOW!

This handsome boy is SHADOW. Shadow is an 11 mo. old boy who loves life! Shadow came to us after having a rough start in life, where he was not treated as he should have been. Despite this, he has blossomed into a very happy-go-lucky dog! Shadow loves his doggy friends and would love a another playful female to romp and run and wrestle with. He is a cuddler and will shower you with kisses! Shadow is a boy who is eager to please. He is enjoying his obedience training and is working on all of his basic commands. He is working on crate training and, although it is not his favorite place to be, he is starting to do well and has on occasion jumped right into his crate without coaxing. We believe this will only continue to get better with time and training. Shadow would do well in a home with another female dog, older children, and a fenced backyard where he can get plenty of exercise. Shadow would also make a wonderful hiking partner and would love to join you on your adventures!

MEET MISS MINNIE!

This sweet 10 year old girl is very active for her age! She is completely housetrained and a wonderful house guest. She likes to cuddle and is good on a leash. She enjoys being around other but can be a little dominant, but never aggressive. She is great in the car and sleeps through the night. MEET LENNY!

Get ready to fall head-over-heels for Lenny, a 12-week-old mixed breed pup with a heart as big as his paws! This fluffy bundle of joy is the epitome of puppyhood, boasting a soft, plush coat just begging for cuddles. Lenny is a playful, active pup with an independent streak, a curious mind, and a goofy personality that will keep you endlessly entertained. He's currently mastering the art of the doggy door and hasn't had an accident inside in a few days – a testament to his intelligence and eagerness to please. While he's still learning to love his crate, he happily sleeps soundly through the night in it. Being a high-energy puppy, Lenny thrives on human interaction and loves being surrounded by his people.

Lenny gets along well with other dogs and with children, but is still learning a bit of bite inhibition. Leash training is a work in progress, but with patience and consistency, he's sure to become a well-mannered walking companion. This goofy, playful pup's most endearing quality is his big, infectious puppy personality, guaranteed to bring laughter and joy to any home. Lenny is still young, and shaping his forever personality.

Lenny would thrive in any home environment where he can receive plenty of love, attention, and outlets for his playful energy. MEET AISHA!

Aisha is a one-year-old bundle of love and energy! This sweet girl is a fantastic house guest—she’s housebroken and kennel trained, and calm in the house, making her an easy addition to any home. Aisha adores everyone she meets and would thrive with another playful dog to help burn off some of her boundless energy. She would also make an excellent hiking buddy, always ready for an adventure! Aisha loves a good game of fetch, though she’s more of a self-entertainer, tossing her toys around when she doesn’t bring them back. She’s a silly, fun-loving girl with a big personality. Her one quirk is that she can be very mouthy at times (someone obviously taught her that this play was okay), so she will need some guidance and redirection in this area. But, with her joyful spirit and sweet nature, you’ll be smitten with Aisha in no time!
