TO CELEBRATE VALENTINE'S DAY, OR AS WE LIKE TO CALL IT, "PAL"ENTINE'S DAY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOUR SCROUNGY DOGS LOVE STORIES! Have you adopted an animal from us? Please comment with a picture and your story! When an adopter takes a moment to share their dog or cat's progress, it's more than just a message. It provides inspiration, hope, and emotional renewal for our fosters and volunteers, and fuel to help us to continue to do what we do! This past year was a tough year and we would love a little positive motivation to keep moving forward! These adoption success stories are what we do this for!!

MEET BJORN!

Your Future Best Friend!
Bjorn is a 2-year-old, 35-pound bundle of joy who’s ready to steal your heart. With his gangly limbs and big, adorable hops, he reminds of us a baby deer while running around. This sweet boy is crate and potty trained, walks well on a leash, and never barks. Bjorn loves everyone he meets, whether they’re people or dogs. His playful side shines when he’s chewing on bones or chasing after balls (though he’s still convinced he’s supposed to catch them with his “hands”, not his mouth!). If you’re looking for a fun, lovable companion to brighten your days and share belly rubs on the couch, Bjorn is the perfect match. He’s a wonderful dog who’s ready to join your home and bring endless joy.

MEET BREE!

Hi I'm Bree!
I am a 2 yr old, 12 lb. spayed female chi mix. I am not fond of the very cold and snow, but am doing much better with my house training since it is getting a little warmer and when I get let out on a regular basis. I fuss a little bit when first going into my crate but then settle down quickly and am good all night in there (although I would love to sleep on the bed with you too). I love to cuddle up with my foster mom and sleep on the couch. I like to watch Will Trent especially when Betty is on the screen! I also love to play with stuffed toys, chew on nyla-bones, do zoomies around the house and follow my humans around to help them with whatever they are doing. My tail wags non-stop. I get along with other dogs and ignore the cats and small caged mammals. Although I get along well with other dogs, I would be fine being your one and only. If you are looking for a great friend, that is me! I can't wait to meet you!

Meet PEARL! She is quite the gem 🙂. This sweet girl is about 7 months old and gorgeous with a magnificently soft luxurious coat. Pearl can be a bit timid, but is getting bolder every day. She is inquisitive and playful and likes to be where the action is. She warmed up to her foster's 6 year old granddaughter in just a short time. She is a sweet girl who just needs a little love and patience. She has the SOFTEST fur, and, if given just a little time to warm up, will make a wonderful addition to most any family!
