Nala is a 2 yr. old sweetie who came to us after doing such a great job raising her three puppies! She is still a bit underweight at 42 lbs., but gaining every day and should likely be 48-55 lbs. Nala has not had much of a chance to experience all that life has to offer, so she can be afraid in new circumstances. Despite that, she is such a loving dog and very deserving of a family to call her own, who will show her what it means to be a dog and have a family that loves her! She is great with human kids and other dogs and would love a playful confident companion to give her extra confidence as she navigates all of her new experiences. With a bit of patience and a few tasty treats, Nala will surely blossom into a loyal and loving companion in her forever home!

NOTE: Nala still finds life overwhelming, and will need a QUIET home with a PATIENT adopter. While she can go on walks in quiet neighborhoods, noisy spaces won't work for her while she rebuilds her trust in her people, especially in a new home. This sweet girl deserves someone loving and kind to help her be her best self. A yard is a must and we'd prefer that you have other dogs to help her with the transition. Allow us to introduce this little bundle of joy, TILLY, the 32 lb., 1 yr old terrier mix!

She is confident, smart, and full of personality, like most terrier mixes and quite tolerant of being handled (feet, ears, etc.). She enjoys playing with toys and chewy bones. She has medium-high energy and is active so she would need a yard to run around in, but settles down nicely and sure loves to snuggle with you on the couch at nap time, or in her crate. She is both house and crate trained and sleeps all night in the crate, without complaint!

She can be a little mouthy, but easily redirected with a toy, and is not a big barker. She learns fast, knows sit, and come, is very food motivated and still young enough to be easily trained, but past most of the annoying little puppy stage.

We don’t know much about her past, but she is a sweetheart, very loving toward everyone. Tilly is respectful of other dogs and at first was a bit intimated by the large resident dog, but quickly warmed up. She would likely do well with older children and would enjoy another dog or would be fine as an only fur baby.

She is untested with cats, but shows interest in the chickens from this side of the fence -- so she does have a strong prey drive. Tilly is learning to respond to “No” and “Leave It”. We believe this little one was loved by someone and she seems to have had a good start in life. Just maybe she came to Colorado to become part of your family.

Bernie is being fostered in FRASER/WINTER PARK.

Meet Bernie (formerly known as Troy (and that is what his records will say)! Bernie is the chillest guy out there! This 65 lb, 3 year old St Bernard ? mix loves being a good boy and is easily trainable. He mastered potty training and “sit” in 1 day! He responds well to simple corrections. Bernie loves to cuddle but also loves some alone time in his kennel. He has a habit of falling off the couch in hilarious ways when playing or trying to get a belly rub.
He gets a little excited when he sees people when being walked on a leash, but overall doesn’t pull. He would fit in well in house with other dogs. He is tolerant and plays nicely with his younger foster brother. He’s good with children too and has played with kids in the 4 year range with the patience of a saint. His foster family recently took him on a road trip with them and he loved it! He rode great in the car and was the best travel companion. He would be a great addition to any family!!
