Sorry, I have been MIA, and not by my choice. Facebook took me down by way of Instagram. Instagram said I had placed some ads that went against Community Standards. What is interesting is the account in question wasn't my Instagram account. I had to make a new personal Facebook account to I could access this page. Most likely, my old account will never be recovered. My husband has access to this page, thank goodness or I would have been screwed. If you have messaged me in the last few days, I will respond, I promise you. Remember, you can text me or email me. Thank you to all of you.

DNA testing your breeding pair of dogs is a crucial step in responsible breeding for several reasons:

1. Preventing Genetic Disorders: DNA testing identifies carriers of hereditary diseases, allowing you to avoid breeding pairs that could pass on serious health conditions to their puppies.

2. Ensuring Genetic Diversity: Testing helps prevent inbreeding by confirming the genetic compatibility of the breeding pair. Inbreeding can lead to health issues, reduced fertility, and shorter lifespans.

3. Improving Offspring Health: Understanding the genetic makeup of your breeding dogs allows you to produce healthier puppies with fewer risks of inherited diseases.

4. Verifying Breed Purity: DNA tests can confirm the breed and lineage of your dogs, which is essential for breeders aiming to maintain breed standards.

5. Enhancing Desirable Traits: Testing enables you to focus on pairing dogs with compatible genes for coat color, temperament, size, and other desirable traits.

6. Ethical and Responsible Breeding: DNA testing demonstrates a commitment to ethical breeding practices by prioritizing the health and well-being of the animals over profit.

7. Compliance with Breeding Guidelines: Many kennel clubs and breed organizations require DNA testing for registration or certification of litters, ensuring that breeders meet high standards.

By DNA testing your breeding pair, you contribute to the long-term health and sustainability of the breed while protecting the integrity of your breeding program.

Retire Red loving his car rides. He came alive when we entered Wind River Canyon. I guess the rest of the ride didn't offer enough scenery.

Good morning all!!

Congratulations to all our new furbaby parents over the summer. Enjoy the rest of the warmer weather.

FYI will have 2 to possible 3 litters due in November. We could possibly have solids, pies and dapples with smooth or long coats. All of these are new pairings. I am excited.
