Hello, I have a few baby Durango highlands (t.e. virgatenuis) looking for homes.

These are from the first litter ever produced in America and are 100% USCBB, from unrelated parents produced by Steven bol in 2020 and 2021.

Late 2024 babies all feeding enthusiastically on coarsely chopped f/t xl pinky mice, a bit of variance in size and color and some were in or nearing shed at the time of photos but all will have nice vibrant blues.

Baby blue phase valleys (t.s. fitchi) born Saturday. Looking forward to raising a small group of these and was pleased to see they were born already showing attractive shades of blue.

This is actually the 8th litter of garters born here this year so far but I've been too busy to post.

Shiva, my female Durango highlands garter snake (T.e. virgatenuis). After talking to Rob Shea, who's produced many more eques than I, I'm feeling a little more confident in her again and less worried. Lock was on 10/6, but it could've been up to a month after that before she actually fertilized and started gestating. Really hoping she comes through with some strong healthy babies.

This is one of my favorite garters, nice pattern and color on this female infernalis, and she has some small amounts of extra black pigment in the stripes, and a few inky black spots in random locations on her body.

I'm eager to find out if the extra melanin can be selectively bred for, or possibly even exaggerated over the generations.

Had a pretty big litter of tiny T.s. fitchi born yesterday from an average sized female. 33 live no stills, one of my biggest litters of garters to date. Due to their small size I imagine I'll be raising them up a little longer than usual.
