It’s going to be really hot this week… we have lots of fun and air conditioning 😊❤️

A force free trainer could not get these results. When I met Gnune (Armenian Gampr), he was leash reactive and since he weighs 50 lbs. more than his owner, she couldn’t control him. He would stand on his hind legs to pull towards other dogs. I’m his 3rd trainer (her 2nd trainer recommended me). I took him in for daycamp to get him started and this is the owner’s first time in class.

Some daycare fun today 😍

Here’s the follow up video of Teddy, the St. Bernard/Mastiff. This is our Circle of Change class and when we started, he was afraid to even walk by the other dogs.

The first section of this video shows this muzzled shepherd greeting me. The second part of the video with me walking her unmuzzled was 15 minutes later. Fear aggression is very dangerous and very hard to correct if left unresolved into adulthood. Luckily, this girl is still young enough to help, but it will still take a great deal of consistent work and commitment to training. In order to avoid this, socializing the dog early in life and the correct way is key. Our next 6 week class for $185 starts May 16th @ 6:00p.m. We also offer privates, as in this video, and house calls. Please call, 815-397-2940

This is Gnuni, a 10 month old Armanian Gumpr, that weighs in at 160 pounds. The owner had been going to another trainer for months and still couldn’t walk the dog anywhere because he just pulled her all over. After two private sessions, she walked it into my store by herself with the dog. Now she’s having me do some bootcamp work so the dog listens amongst distractions.

PART 3: Dakota’s party video 🎈

First time outside this year in intermediate training. Five of these dogs are just out of basic obedience. Six of these dogs are dog reactive on leash. One of them was so scared the first two weeks, they hid behind the owner. One couple dreaded going home because their puppy wanted to bite them so much. All of them listened in class and did their homework and will now be able to enjoy their summers with their dogs. Our next 6-week basic class starts on April 20th; $175.
