Tonight, we attended Paws Humane Society Rockford's 17th Annual Fur Ball, an incredibly uplifting evening that showcased the life-transforming power of compassion, community spirit, and celebrating with animals.

With dangerously cold temperatures in the forecast, we decided to close the pool for the next 2 days. We plan to reopen on Wednesday when temperatures are expected to be warmer. Please stay safe and keep warm.

What do we do to relax when we're not at the pool? We get creative and paint pictures of our dogs, of course! And don't even think about asking to buy them - they're not for sale. This event was put on by Pig Minds Brewing Co and it was a blast! Special thanks to Michelle Dorr and her sister who helped us create our masterpieces.

In honor of the holiday, we're giving our staff the day off to sleep in, watch football, and eat leftovers with friends and family. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

It's an aquatic miracle! Sadie, Kane, and Tatum have mastered swimming together without sinking each other. They come every week, and their consistency has dramatically improved their confidence and swimming skills! Sadie is pictured with her favorite toy, 'little blue monster'. If you’re interested, we can set up weekly appointments for you and you dog.

Oliver is experiencing a swift and successful recovery. His energy levels have returned, his pain has diminished considerably and his back legs are growing stronger every day. Water therapy has revealed two important facts.
1. Oliver is a naturally gifted swimmer.
2. Oliver resists guidance.
Unfortunately for Oliver, his family owns the pool. There is quite a bit of swimming in his future.

We are open year-round. Our pool water temperature is consistently maintained at approximately 90 degrees, ideal for dogs suffering from arthritis or recuperating from surgery or injury. We have availability this weekend at the following times: Saturday 7am

We’re back and better than ever! We rebuilt the platforms and we have a shiny new pool heater to keep us warm. We can’t wait to see everyone again!

Reba visits us every Wednesday. We can’t wait to see this girl!

Unfortunately we will be closed this weekend. Our heater is broken. The part to fix it is not in stock so we had to order it. We are hoping to get it installed on Monday. Stay tuned for updates.

Oliver update: All of Oliver’s bones are back! He is walking on his own and growing out his “butt-hawk” haircut. His vet is pleased with his progress and he had his 2nd laser therapy yesterday. He has to wait 2 more weeks to start his hydrotherapy.

Oliver's surgery was a little over a week ago, and let me tell you, it was no cakewalk! The first 5-6 days were pretty rough, but not as rough as Oliver's attitude towards his recovery! We carried him outside with his back legs in a sling, but he refused to cooperate and use his front legs. We called it 'no bones' because he would just collapse and lay there like a sack of potatoes, forcing us to pick up all 76 lbs of him. Talk about being a drama queen! Of course McKenna is keeping a close eye on him.
