Hi everyone! Unfortunately, Blackwood Manor Farms is closed for the Loudoun Fall Farm tours due to unexpected circumstances. We are very sorry for those who expected to come out today and tomorrow. We were so looking forward to the Fall farm tour ourselves and getting the chance to speak to all of you in person. However, we do have our farm stand up this weekend. And it’s an antique sleigh! If you want to support us by grabbing a fall bouquet or pumpkin —or check out the sleigh — stop by today or tomorrow. You can also sign up for our newsletter for updates on any other events this year, and for the Spring farm tours next year. Thanks for all your support and your understanding, as we couldn’t do it without you!

Tickets are available now for our haunted flower workshop on October 27th, the Sunday before Halloween! We’ll be making some spooky, Halloween-themed floral centerpieces in the haunted Red Barn. Be prepared for some spooky incidents to occur during your bouquet making. Tickets are on our website on the flower farm store.

Snapped a photo during some of our bouquet prep this weekend. Whenever the family gets together to make bouquets, the kitchen starts to look like a floral shop with the ribbons and flowers strewn everywhere. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far and ordered a bouquet after our cancelled Mayfest weekend! I’ve loved meeting every single person and it’s been a joy to give something that brings a smile to someone’s face. We couldn’t do it without you!

We’re still open for orders, and the pink peonies are flowering like crazy right now. We’re currently building our farm stand, so updates to come on that soon!

Happy Thanksgiving from the Blackwood Manor Farms family! Our kitchen is currently decorated by a few of our Long Island Wheel of Cheese pumpkins, and in the background, some of the adorable Jack Be Little pumpkins, which we grew this year — both in our top favorites! We miss the pumpkin patch already, and we can’t wait to grow more next year.

Happy holidays from our barn kitties in our Christmas-decorated event barn! We’ve had an eventful, incredibly busy year as we head into winter, and while we all feel rewarded by 2023 (and very, very tired)….it’s hard not to get excited for the new year! Like many farms, we are already beginning to prepare for spring, and we can’t wait to welcome more people out to the farm and share it with you all. Thanks for being part of it! Happy New Year’s 😊

First schooling session during the chilly spring for our little two year old 🥰

Our new stalls have our little mascot Lochlann’s stamp of approval! He, however, does not approve of how we are trying to get his attention for pictures 😆 These are our miniature and pony stalls, limited to horses 14 hands and under. We custom built everything to size (you might have seen it from some of our insta stories), including the Dutch doors and windows, with an Old World German design for charm. Our two stalls in the main aisle-way, more Old European style, are for our ‘bigs’ 😉— bring your Warmbloods and Belgians!
