This study, which I reference to each of my buyers when reviewing our contract and telling them to wait till 2 to sterilize their pets, has recently been updated.

As you can see, in golden retrievers it is suggested that you DO NOT sterilize your females. Now, I can’t insist that of all my customers, and I’m sure the vets will still push early sterilization on all they can. However, I want all of you to have the information so you can make informed decisions.

💛We wanted to share a touching story from one of our puppy families. This is why we do what we do and why we love Goldens the most!💛

“Good afternoon, I just wanted to share with you how one of Libby's pups, born on 11/15/21 is serving our community for the good. Alex and I are a therapy team and we have made a visit to the command center of the Baltimore Bridge disaster response team, where we gave the first responders some time to recuperate and rest from their work. We also visit an elementary school every week, where the kids interact with Alex as a stress reliever. He is a terrific therapy dog!”

Great job Alex and family!! You guys will touch countless hearts and we couldn’t be more proud! 🥹

Puppies are AKC registered, have had a veterinary health examination, vaccines, and dewormer. They are very well socialized with kids (ages 1, 2, 4, 6, 12, 15). They are initiated on a potty routine which we have found really helps our buyers with the process as a whole.

Noel’s puppies are two and a half weeks old and growing so fast! Everyone’s doing amazing! Clearly, Levi loves to get some cuddle time in with each of them. They are becoming more active as their eyes and ears begin to open!

Noel’s puppies will be a week old tonight and boy what a week it has been.

Noel delivered a total of 12 puppies. Saturday night into Sunday she delivered 11 puppies, one of which was unfortunately stillborn. (This is not uncommon, especially in large litters) The surviving puppies are strong and healthy and growing quickly! It wasn’t until Tuesday morning that she delivered the 12th. This retained puppy began to cause an infection and it was clear that Noel was not doing well.
We rushed her off to the emergency vet where she stayed for the next 24 hours away from her puppies. This was stressful for all - her, the puppies, and us. We now had to feed the puppies every two hours around the clock. Noel wasn’t eating at the hospital so they were hesitant to let her come home but I just knew what she needed was to be with her babies. She’s a very attentive mother. We’ve got her on a delicious venison, rice, chicken and eggs diet. She’s been eating more and more, regaining her appetite and weight with each day. Shes on antibiotics but doing phenomenally.
We still feed the puppies a few times a day to make sure they’re getting enough and to help take some of the load off mama. Everyone’s doing very well now and we can’t wait to see these puppies grow!

Noel x Huck litter due FEB 13th!!! We’re expecting a LARGE litter. We have lots of availability on this waitlist and puppies will go home mid April! Just before the summer! 💛

Maggie x Huck litter expected April 6th! Maggie was bred to Huck via artificial insemination. This is the first time we’ve been through that process but we’re hopeful that it will increase our odds of successful breeding for our customers. We have lots of availability on this litter waitlist as well. These puppies will go home early June! ☀️

Libby was scheduled for her pregnancy check today at 3 - unfortunately the vet office is overrun with Covid and we rescheduled for next Friday! We look forward to seeing if she is pregnant, even if it’s not very likely. We will open up her waitlist if confirmed and puppies will be due mid January.
