Thankful. Appreciative. Honored. Grateful.
I use all of these words, and yet none come close to expressing how I feel about the love and respect I have received from my clients and their babies over the last 8 years.
It all started with one client and her family who changed my life forever! 🥰
They believed in me, trusted me, and let me be a part of their lives. Not just with their pets but truly as a friend and family member.
The relationship that grew with this family set the path and the bar for how I would run my animal care business. I would thank them publicly, but I respect privacy and won't tag them here.
My time running Animal Duties was mostly wonderful experiences.
Darling animals with beautiful souls, clients with gracious and generous hearts, exceptionally beautiful days spent out doors, and knowing I was able to be and do more than I ever thought I could!
Physically and mentally, this job changed me and has helped me grow into who I am today.
But also over those 8 years my body has taken its toll from this job. From a broken foot (30 days after opening), to broken teeth, torn ligaments, to spinal compressions and so much more.
So when I needed up in the ER again one day last month, I knew it was time to start reconsidering what I need to do as a career.
It is truly heartbreaking that I am moving on from such a tremendous job and all of my fabulous clients and their babies. My clients may not know it, but they made one woman's small dream come true, for just a short amount of time, but it was worth every second and I would do it all over again.❤
Service will end at 5pm today for the very last time.
I love you all, I will truly miss your babies, and I thank you for everything you've done for me and my business over the years.
Lots of love,
Krista Hawk
