What is Operation Santa Paws?
Operation Santa Paws encourages animal lovers to share the gift of giving at shelters everywhere from December 1st to December 24th. This can include donations in the form of food, treats, toys, money, or volunteering. Reach out to your local shelter today to see how you can help!

Just as a reminder for this week (and possibly in to next week depending on construction), our front lobby will be closed. If you are here for an appointment, please wait in your vehicle (if you’re able) and call/text to check in. We are directing you and your pet to come in through the side employee entrance during this time (you may park in the employee parking lot if you would like). Thank you for your patience as we work through the construction!

The GRVH employee we are highlighting this week is Tina!

Tina is currently the practice manager of the GRVH office and has been a loyal member of the team since 2003! When asked why she originally chose to work for Grand River Vet, she said,
“I pestered Dr. Zech(and her team)to give me a job cleaning the office part time. I thought it would be so fun to work with the animals, boy was that a surprise when I realized how much more there is to it no matter what the job description.”

Her favorite part about working for GRVH is the ability to serve animals and humans alike, to make an impact in others lives. She loves knowing that she is helping in any way, big or small.
Tina has several pets of her own at home(pictured below).

When she is away from GRVH she enjoys spending time with family making memories, crocheting, and attending church.

Remodel update!

Starting December 2nd the remodel of our front reception desk will begin! This project is expected to take approximately 1 week to complete. During this time we will have limited ability to perform point of sale transactions at the front and ask for your grace and patience as we maneuver this update! As always we recommend paying ahead online for medications through the link on our websites though it is not required, if you are having trouble paying online you may call the office at 616-897-4900 to pay over the phone.

If you have an appointment with us between 12/2-12/7, we ask that you wait in your vehicle(if able) until they are ready for you inside. This will help reduce anxiety for our furry friends as the construction is ongoing.

If you have been in recently with your pet and had lab work run, our apologies that our outside lab has been delayed in sending us results. As soon as we receive results, our doctors will be in touch with you. Thank you for your patience.

Pardon our Mess

As some of you may have noticed our renovations at GRVH are well underway! We truly appreciate how understanding everyone has been through this process and can’t wait for whats still to come! For those of you that have not had the pleasure of seeing the progress so far, we thought we would share some updates!

-We have added a beautiful display to our lobby which now contains all of our prescription foods available for sale.

-An additional room has been added where the food used to be in the lobby!

-We have started updating the counter tops/benches in all of our exam rooms.
