Lindsey, a lifelong resident of Lower Burrell, spent over 10 years working in the operating room while pet sitting for friends and family on the side. A huge pet lover, she grew up in a home with great danes, mastiffs, bulldogs, basset hounds and even piranhas! Her family also owned several show jumping horses over the years. Today she has two basset hounds and an english bulldog.
While she did enjoy her time in the medical field, she decided to make a change and follow her dream of working with pets. She formed Lindsey’s Dog Walking & In-Home Visits, LLC in March 2018. As the business started to grow, Lindsey began working with Michelle who is a proud rescue dog mom and animal lover. Michelle also worked with dogs and cats for many years in a local animal shelter.
As time went on she expanded her team with Audrey, Jolene, Jessica, and Tiffany. And today with over 100 clients are planning to expand into surrounding towns.
After becoming a member of Pet Sitters International in December of 2018, Lindsey completed their Pet Sitter Certificate Program in January of 2019. Lindsey also completed the Pet-Tech First Aid and CPR program in March of 2019. In August of 2019, she completed and passed the Pet Sitters International Certification Exam. She plans on continuing her education through PSI.
