Meet Daffodil – 3.5-Year-Old Yellow Lab Mix in Foster Care

Hi, I’m Daffodil! I’m currently in foster care, waiting for my forever home. I’m a sweet, timid girl who’s looking for a patient family that can help me feel safe, loved, and secure. ❤️

I’m a 3.5-year-old Yellow Lab mix with moderate energy. I absolutely love my walks and enjoy being a professional sniffer on every outing. 🐾 While I’m crate trained, I’d much prefer to be close to my people.

I can be a bit shy and fearful of loud noises and new people, so I need slow introductions and a family who respects my space. I’m also a girls’ girl—I tend to bond more easily with women than men. 💫

I enjoy going on new adventures, but I’m not a fan of large crowds. If it’s a quiet walk or a relaxing day on the couch, I’m totally content. Because of my timid nature, I’d do best in a home with no young children. 🧸

Sasha would thrive in a calm, adult-only home where she can be the center of attention. She’s a low-energy girl who doesn’t require much exercise—just a few gentle walks a day to keep her comfortable. Because of some arthritis in her hips, Sasha would do best in a peaceful environment where she can rest and relax. 🎾

Hi, I’m Vinnie, a 2-year-old Retriever mix with quite the story to share. During the tough times of COVID-19, I was separated from my person and ended up in a high-kill shelter in North Carolina. Thankfully, Big Dog Ranch rescued me, but I’ve been waiting for my forever family since January 2023.

I may be on the bigger side, but I’m super loving and sweet! Big squishy dogs like me make the best cuddlers! When I’m not being a snuggle bug, I love playing with toys (especially bones!), exploring my yard, and wrestling with my doggy roommates. While I enjoy the company of other dogs, I’d do best in a home with experienced adopters who understand my breed and can help me adjust. ✨🐾Caterpillar’s Freedom Ride 🐾✨We received a desperate call from a good someraritan and rushed to save a dog in need. Meet Caterpillar—a sweet soul who walked right up to the gate of a house, as if he knew someone would come to his rescue. His leg is broken, his ear infections are beyond imaginable, and his skin is in horrific condition from being malnourished. But with the right care, we know Caterpillar is going to transform into the healthy, happy dog he deserves to be. 🐾💙After we saved Caterpillar, another dog, Tumbleweed, was also in need of rescue. So while we were there picking up Caterpillar from this good someraritan, she asked us to help rescue another precious dog she had found running down the highway by a gas station. At 9 years old, this beautiful Weimaraner is just weeks away from her 10th birthday, and she has so much love to give. ❤️ After the heartbreaking loss of her owner, she’s been searching for a new place to call home. Despite facing some challenges due to a spinal cord injury that affects her bladder and bowel control, she doesn't let that stop her from living every day to the fullest. 💕 One of Raven’s favorite things? Food! This sweet girl is a true foodie who absolutely loves her snacks.
