I hope your trainer doesn't give you what you want.

I DO hope your trainer gives you what you need, more importantly...what your horse needs.

There will always be someone willing to do it faster and flashier. There will always be someone willing to get you into the show ring on your time line instead of your horses. There will always be someone who will tell you only the things you want to hear. For the right price, there will always be someone.

I don't want that kind of someone...not for me and not for you all either.

So, choose your someone carefully.

Choose someone who values their process enough that they can't be swayed from it by demands and dollars. They know where they've been, where they're going and all of the things they've learned between. They put your horse first and show you the value in work that is centered around what the horse needs. They are your biggest supporter while remaining honest and realistic about what it takes to achieve your goals. The only promise they make, is that your horse will get better...and you will too. You pay them but at the same time, who they are at their core can't be bought. They live their truth each day, honest and humble.

That type of someone is priceless...

Stands at 15hh. She has been ridden on trails and rides around well. She is started on the pattern so you can finish her your way. She is currently barefoot. Feet can get a little tender in the summer with pastures being wet. Will be more a push style great rate and turny! She is currently youth suitable and does lessons as well

Here are just a few of my favorite memories and moments from 2022. I would like to thank every HB team member, animal and client for making this one of my best years yet! It has been filled with a lot of highs and lows and lessons learned, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! Here’s to a new year and new adventures!

Hate to do this. PG Like A Rock “Hunter” 2015 gelding. Around 16hh and stout. His papers speaks for itself. Easy going guy, easy keeper. Not mean, not stubborn, not stupid. Not crazy (I have done A LOT of slow work with him) but will haul butt if you ask. Hauls well, stalls well, gets along with other horses. Has never offered to buck or rear in the two years I have owned him. Has run at hometown amateur rodeos in the performance and won money. Has made 1D/2D runs with me. Unfortunately, our styles just don’t match. He has so much more to give and I know he’ll be winning at big races/rodeos. I’ve come to terms with the fact that it just won’t be with me. I have no doubt that once he finds someone that works with his style, it will be amazing to watch. Has run to the left and to the right. Not sure which way is better, I’m just better riding a lefty. Don’t ask me what big he runs in, I’ve ran him in a bunch of different kinds, still don’t know which is best for him. He has gotten neck, hocks, stifles, low back/SI injected. Has never been lame since I’ve had him. Vet checks welcome at buyer’s expense. Located in West Palm Beach, FL. Asking 30🥕 OBO.
