Busy morning yesterday! Dentist and farrier at the same time for trims from teeth to toes! We now have a collection of little tiny teeth that came out of Niblets and Peanuts mouths (Lucy and Buffy kept all of theirs 😁)and of course, my biggest problem boy, 25-year-old Hudson, who is our hardest keeper, Brian pulled two more teeth, so now we have a total of four Hudson teeth from over the years. Hopefully he’ll be able to chew more easily now! Definitely looks much worse than it is! 🦷😬

So incredibly grateful for 100+ Women Who Care - South Florida, not only for this incredibly generous grant, but also for the amazing people and connections with other nonprofits we have made! Looking forward to our continued efforts to make more incredible impacts in so many more lives with partnering with some of the other organizations in Palm Beach County!
Additionally, I am eternally grateful for my unbelievably supportive team, we really do have such a great Delmar family! ❤️ When they say it takes a village, it certainly does! 🙌🏼🫶🏼

Great opportunity!! Ride in exchange for evening barn feeding/chores! We have a few lovely horses available for a few evenings a week and exchange for Barn help. For the right person, you’ll be trained the schedule, and you will have a lovely horse to ride. This would probably average about three maybe four evenings a week. It has to be a commitment and it has to be a very experienced person. Please, if you’ve only ridden occasionally, please do not apply! This is for someone who knows how to fetch a horse tack it up confidently and ride with experience. There might be times that I am around or maybe somebody else but for the most part this is a solo position. The majority of our volunteers do the morning shifts in groups. Evenings are a little bit different.
About us, we are a 501c3 nonprofit Equine and Farm animal sanctuary. We have a lot of senior and rescue animals, so most of our volunteers are here for just the love of the animals and don’t ride. But if somebody would like to have a nice horse to ride occasionally this would be a great opportunity for them! You will be taught the routine, it’s not that complicated however, all of our animals are in specific groups so you’d have to get to know that routine. Who wants to join our awesome team? We have volunteer opportunities available! For this opportunity, we are looking for adults only. Mornings mostly with the possibility of some evenings. We have opportunities for teenagers as well, but that’s separate. For teenagers they must be 13 years and older. This opportunity will not permit an adult to come with their younger child unfortunately. We do have classes set up for that, though!

Two of the hardest working kids, Chloe and Lumi! Plus, new fencing to expand Winston’s paddock and Ronny and Cash’s one section. And, in the next couple of days the old fence will be coming down so Winston and his gang will have gained extra room! Stay tuned for that excitement soon! 👏🏼❤️

Let there be PUMPKINS!! We’ve had several people drop off multiple batches of pumpkins, I think we’re also expecting more! Grateful and the animals even more so thankful, they love them!

Oh boy 😱 The Haunted Hayride area is looking so good!!! This is going to be interactive with live characters and you will play a role! Cannot wait until Saturday! Just came in the house from working all day and through the night! There’s still much to get done tomorrow. The wind and the rain we had earlier in the week really pushed me back! I would’ve taken a video of the haunted forest, but I’m not going in there myself at night time ha ha! The rest of the areas look amazing too but I just don’t want to show it yet because there is still quite a lot of clutter 🎃👻

We are fine, all the animals are totally fine! We don’t have power which sucks, seems like most of my neighbors have power except for the same 31 of us that seem to be on the same line lost power 3:30 in the morning. My hope is that they do come and fix it soon because not having power and your water relies on power is definitely an issue! I made this little video earlier this morning so that it can put everyone’s fears to rest. Thank goodness we fared well. I just I’m so sorry for everyone who did not.
