February is National Pet Dental Health Month. Is your pet showing signs of poor dental health? Keep an eye out for bad breath, swollen gums, difficulty eating, pawing at the face, and excessive drooling. These may indicate underlying dental diseases. Recognizing potential periodontal disease early on is crucial for your pet's well-being. Prioritize your pet's oral health to ensure a happier and healthier life.
Your Pup and Pools

Pets can be pretty good at hiding symptoms of a bigger issue. That’s why seeing us regularly is so important.
Heartworm Microfilaria
Have you ever wondered what baby heartworms look like? This is a microfilaria swimming in the blood of a dog under the microscope. Microfilariae are produced by adult heartworms and circulate in the bloodstream until they are picked up by a mosquito that bites the dog, which then leads to the spread of heartworms to another dog. This is why we always recommend year-round heartworm prevention!
