Summer might be winding down, but the heat sure isn’t! This is our friendly reminder to ensure your pet (and you!) stay hydrated! 💦
Signs of dehydration in pets include (but are not limited to) dry nose, excessive drooling, lethargy, sticky gums, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. If your pet exhibits any of these signs, please contact us right away.

Cats are so laidback that people often think they are low-maintenance and don't need to go to the vet as often as dogs. In honor of National Take Your Cat to the Vet Day, we want to remind you of the top reasons our feline friends need regular exams, too!

🔥 HEAT ADVISORY🔥
It is going to be HOT today with temps reaching up to 105! 🥵 Please keep your dogs inside and out the heat!
If they need out please limit the time out there and make sure they have access to plenty of fresh water and shade!
Here are a few other tips to help beat the heat!
-obese and short nosed dogs like Pug, Boston Terriers and Frenchies are less tolerant of heat
-if a dog is hot wetting the feet can help cool them down
-keep exercise or walks in the early morning or late evening and walk on grass or dirt as sidewalks and asphalt can still be hot and can burn their feet
- never leave a dog in a car without it running even for a little bit
-white or light colored dogs are susceptible to becoming sunburn
-ice chips, a small dog pool or some fun pupsicles can help keep them cool
-watch for signs of heat stroke like excessive panting, vomiting and weakness/mobility problems and then seek veterinary attention immediately
