My name is Ginger. I am a lab/boxer mix born 1/20/2024. My sister and I were found in the country, no one knows how we got there. I am still very shy with people, but once I get to know you I am a very energetic, playful little girl. I like balls and toys and any water or mud puddle I can find. I do like to chew so chew toys is a must. I do like baths and do not fight when getting one. I do not like the leash just yet, but I am very smart and working on learning how to walk like a good girl. I enjoy having someone around most of the time. I might try escape when scared or alone so leaving me outside for longer than potty breaks is not a good idea. Please be patient with me while we learn each other and I learn manners and commands. I do sleep in a crate and find comfort in there. My adoption fee is $175 which includes my vaccinations, microchip, spay, heartworm negative test and monthly heartworm meds. I will be at the adoption event this Saturday 11-2 at 8901 highway 87 building 119. You can also email [email protected] with questions.

Folsom is a female black/brown tabby. She was rescued as a feral kitten so she had a rough start. She has been the slowest of her litter to warm up to people. She is very shy but given some time she will let you pick her up and rub her tummy. She loves to rub on your legs and purr. She has come a long way and is now ready for her forever home. She is a very sweet kitten.

Her foster home has cat-friendly children that respect her space. She seeks their attention so she can purr and knead her soft blankets. If you have a quiet spot for Folsom, she will repay you with lots of love.

Folsom has all her vaccinations, her rabies shot, has been spayed and microchipped. She is eligible for a two week home visit to see if she is a good fit for her new family. Her adoption fee is $150. She will attend adoption events but if you need more info or would like to schedule a private meeting, please email [email protected]

Delilah is a gentle, slightly chatty sweetheart with a soft heart and a slow-blossoming trust. She came to us after her beloved owner tragically passed away, and she’s been patiently learning to love again. While she may take a little time to warm up, once she does, she’s affectionate, loyal, and loves quiet companionship. Delilah is also on a journey to reach a healthier weight and is doing great with a little help and encouragement. If you’re looking for a kind soul who just needs a little time and love, Delilah might be your perfect match.

Delilah is up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. She is spayed. Her adoption fee is $150. For more info or to meet her in person you can email [email protected] to set up a meeting or come by the South Plains SPCA Saturdays from 3-6 to meet her.

Please bow for the lovely princess Cici 👑🤍

This captivating cutie with a royal presence was born in March 2023 and came into rescue shortly before her first birthday. Cici has learned the pleasures of being an indoor cat discovered her undying love of attention. She is calm, observant, and gentle. She absolutely loves to break the ice with new friends by enjoying a tasty tube treat. She likes to designate certain spaces as her own where she feels most comfortable and will be the most affectionate. She also has a playful side and enjoys a feather teaser wand or kick toy every so often.

Cici currently shares her foster home with other cats but has discovered that it's too crowded and she would perfer a home of her very own that puts her on the pedestal she deserves. She dreams of a human or whole family to cherish and keep all to herself. She simply can’t share the attention! However, she has agreed to share her home with other animals (cats and dogs alike) so long as they promise to leave her alone and allow her as much 1 on 1 human time as she desires. Cici has experience with older kids/teens and likes being petted by small hands. She expects this would translate well to even smaller children so long as they are gentle.

Most of the time, Cici likes sun-bathing on the warm spots of the floor by the window or being perched on windowsill watching the birds outside. She is ready for her own palace to reign alongside her own family.

Cici is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to meet you! Her adoption fee is $150. Please email [email protected] to arrange a meet and greet or join the court of her royal highness.

🐈 Meet Caymus 🐾
Caymus was found as a stray feral kitten all alone and saved by a kind lady who got him into rescue with the South Plains SPCA. It has taken Caymus some time to learn to trust, and he is still a little shy and slow to warm up at first with new people. He is doing great and getting more comfortable getting pets and being held. He is a sweet and playful boy. He loves to play chase with his foster siblings. He is okay with the dogs in his foster home and gets along well with other cats. He has not been around any kids in his foster home, but would probably do well with gentle respectful older kids. Caymus will be a little shy at first in his new home, but will warm up given patience and time to adjust in his new surroundings. He is a very good boy and ready to meet his forever family.

Caymus is up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. He is neutered. His adoption fee is $150. For more info or to meet him in person you can email [email protected] to set up a meeting or come by the South Plains SPCA Saturdays from 3-6 to meet him.

“Have you heard of the Legend of Billy Jean? Well… I am Billy Jean and I was on the run for a while. I was finally captured and let me tell you I was terrified until a nice man from the SPSPCA came to my rescue. He sprung me from the clink and took me home where I met many other dogs and people. I was a little slow to warm up but now I can’t get enough playing and cuddling. They believe I am a schnauzer mix approximately 1 year old.”

Billy Jean is a very sweet small to medium sized girl. She desires attention constantly and does tend to walk in front of you or even tangles in your feet because she just needs to be where you are. If you are at all a risk to falls take this into consideration. Billy Jean is crate trained and goes in immediately when food is involved. She is working on potty training and doing well. Billy Jean does have what appears to be a birth defect on her right back paw. She only has the middle two toes. She limps on it when walking but when she needs to get somewhere fast she just picks it up to zoom around the yard. Billy Jean will do well in any family as long as she is given time to warm up and adjust. She does have a loud bark so I am not really sure how apartment living would be.
Billy Jean is available to go on a 1 week home visit but know it could take longer to really come out of her shell. Her adoption fee is $175 which includes her spay, microchip, negative heart worm test with current preventative and up to date immunizations. If you would like to meet Billy Jean email the south plains SPCA at [email protected] to set a private meeting or come meet her at adoption events on Saturdays from 11-2.

Hi there, I'm Bentley. I was surrendered to the rescue due to no fault of my own. At first I had a really hard time transitioning from being with my family to being in my foster home. I struggled so much that I had to start taking anxiety medication to help me be okay. I am the most cuddly and sweet guy once you get to know me and I get to feel and I get to feel and I learn to trust you. It may take a little while for me to warm up so I need someone with a lot of patience and a big patient heart to understand I am a good loving boy. I am a terrier/doodle mix boy born 8/1/2021.

I am 95% potty trained and sleep well in a kennel at night or when my foster mom is away from home. I get along well with other animals as long as I have a slow introduction. I do kind of feel like I should be boss and tell everyone what they should do.

My foster mom says, Bentley is a very sweet boy who has had a hard start to life. He does have a lot of anxiety with anything new and struggles to meet new people. He is looking for someone who possibly works from home or is home a lot, so that they can really bond with him slowly and gain trust. He is okay with cats and dogs but prefers a quiet home withOUT small children. We are looking for the right person who wants to work with him and love him as much as we do. He is super cuddly and also is learning to play frisbee and so far he really loves it! His adoption fee is $175 which includes vaccinations, microchip, neuter, heartworm negative test with monthly preventative. If you are interested in meeting Bentley or want more information on him, please email [email protected] and we will set up a meet and greet or answer any questions.

Arty is an amazing dog!! He is a sweetheart and he totally wants to please his people! He is about a year old, black lab mix, about 40 lbs. He is great with cats and kids, and does not want to be alone. He needs either a dog buddy or a family who is home most of the time.
He's completely house trained, no accidents. He knows sit, shake, lay down, and stay, especially when he is calm! He does get extremely excited when his people come home and forgets his manners, and jumps, but he quickly remembers once he calms down a bit. He's pretty energetic, loves to chew on chews but can destroy stuffed toys very quickly. He's learning to play fetch with a ball! (He great at chasing it down, but forgets he's supposed to give it back.) His leash manners are pretty good, just minor pulling. He is a cuddler, so snuggly!! He's truly a good boy!! He is still learning to be a family member but getting the hang of it quick!
Arty’s adoption fee is $175 which includes his vaccinations, neuter, microchip, heartworm negative test with currently preventative. Come see Arty on Saturday 11-2 at 8901 highway 87 building 119. You can also email [email protected] with questions.

Annie is a beautiful senior citizen who was born around 11/1/2015. She is a cute little scruffy Border Collie mix. While she is very shy around other people, once she knows you she loves to play and will follow you wherever you go. She is house and crate trained. She would rather stay out with you but will go inside her crate to eat her meals.

Annie loves to play with other dogs who she knows are her friends. She pretty much just ignores cats.

As Annie is a senior, she is on a joint supplement and pain medication for her arthritis that will need to be continued for her life. It is very minimal and easy to manage.

Annie’s adoption fee is $100 which includes her vaccinations, microchip, spay, heartworm negative test with monthly preventative. If you are interested in meeting Annie, she will be making her grand appearance this Saturday at 8901 highway 87 building 119.
