We want everyone to have a safe and fun Independence Day (furry, feathered and scaly friends included.)
Here are some tips to keep your pets safe during the fireworks:

1. Be sure pets have tags and collars on, and their microchip information is up to date

2. Exercise pets well before fireworks will start

3. Keep pets away from fireworks or leave them home

4. Create a safe space by placing them in their kennel in a quiet room away from windows (such as the closet or basement)

5. Play white noise or soothing music

6. Keep them entertained with toys, treats, and puzzles

7. If necessary use prescribed anxiety medications from your veterinarian
