Echo is back for Day 4. He is working on “stay”. Since he is blind I am working using touch & sound and using the place board as a target.

Dolly thinks it would be fun to chase cars so that is a behavior that needs to be shut down. She still gets a little excited about them but it’s gotten much better. Notice how she keeps trying to get in front of me but I won’t let her because that is the absolute worst position for a reactive dog to be in.

I’ve been working with Gus on the slip lead but he just pulls a lot. Since I don’t want him to damage his windpipe I’ve switched him to a Halti style leash. He wasn’t thrilled but after some coaxing he started doing great!

Echo’s walking is pretty good when there’s nothing going on…now we need to work on his reactivity….

I’ve had these bacon flavor bubbles for months and Gus is the first dog that’s been interested

Gus quickly figured out that he gets treats if he stays on the place board.

Vivi update! She’s starting to use her back leg a little and testing pressure on it! 🤗
