We are pleased to call Singing Mesa Ranch (SMR) our home and so excited about the opportunities. Located on Hwy 65, we are convenient to fishing, antiquing and shopping. Des Moines is 45 minutes to the North. We are 20 minutes East from I-35 at Osceola and 25 minutes South From Indianola. Our equine interests are varied. Trail riding is right at the top. ng, team penning and cattle sorts. Jana has been a horse owner for 50 years. Several of our grown children are horse lovers with experience in reining and ranch horse pleasure with a small side of English thrown in. Established in December 2016, at SMR we are constantly working to improve and grow our offerings. Our biggest goal will always be to have a family friendly and flexible place to enjoy. We currently have monthly pasture board available and offer self-care stall board. We offer overnight rest stops for travelers and horses. Clean load horse transports are welcome. SMR can accommodate large size rigs. Our grounds are monitored by a recorded camera system. SMR offers 6 camping sites with 30amp and water but have flexibility to mix several additional sites with 30 and 15amp service nearby. We have picnic tables and fire rings. There are 7 outdoor stalls and 6 indoor stalls with automatic water and matted footing. The stall barn has a restroom/shower for humans and a wash rack for the horses. There is an attached indoor insulated 60x90 arena. We have a 100x220 outdoor roping arena. Our 120 acres provide ample room for a trail ride with 16 miles of mowed/mapped trails and more area to explore. Stephen’s State Forest is nearby and offers several days of riding enjoyment. We have a 20ft stock trailer available for rent so you can park your rig and light haul for the day to Stephen’s. You don't have to be a horse owner to enjoy our campground. We love big campfires and playing gospel, country and bluegrass music!
