our website, complete an application, and submit to us. If you have a specific color, size, s*x, etc., please complete an application early and let us know what you are looking for so we can secure your preference-after we receive your deposit of course! :-)

We accept PayPal, cashier's check, and cash. All dogs are sold on either a show/breeding or pet contract and are legally binding. Our dogs come with a 3 year health guarantee that covers genetic diseases detailed in contract. We provide tail docking, dew claw removal, all vaccinations and wormings through 8 weeks of age. Shipping is available for an additional cost. Karin has been shipping dogs for over 10 years and is very strict about her animals having a safe, healthy, and non-traumatic experience. We also provide microchipping for an additional fee of $45.00
Which includes lifetime enrollment in Companion Animal Recovery Program by AKC. So you never have to pay an annual enrollment fee. (Cheaper than going to a vet and paying for an office visit!)

Our dogs are MDR1 gene tested. Please check out these links for more info on the MDR1 gene if you have or are considering getting an Aussie or other shepherd/herding dog. This gene affects several breeds. Breeds known to carry the mdr1 mutation include Australian Shepherds of all sizes, Collies, English Shepherds, Longhaired Whippets, McNabs, Old English Sheepdogs, Shetland Sheepdogs, and Silken Windhounds. Research has shown that three of every four Collies and two of every four Australian Shepherds (of any size) have at least one copy of the mutated gene. It's 1030 am. Alarm went off at 630, got up. Brushed my teeth, took my meds, dressed, let dog out, started a load of laundry, fed 18 dogs. Cleaned kennels and puppy messes, headed to mare barn, grained, hayed, watered 13 horses and donkey, filled up mares water tank. Headed to show barn, grained, watered, and hayed 5 horses. Turned out 2 mares in indoor arena, picked stalls, dumped 3 carts of manure. Went back to house, let dog out, put laundry in dryer, started another load, fixed me some oatmeal and it's 1030 am. That's how my day starts. I thank God every day for my animals and the ability to care for them.

Equine Apprenticeship available on small breeding and showing cowhorse ranch in Lucasville, Ohio in exchange for stable help and ranch duties. Furnished 1 br apartment with wifi on site. Learn proper round pen ground work, c**t training and starting. Opportunity to ride and possibly show cowhorses depending on your ability. Work with weanlings, yearlings, 2 yr Olds, learn flag work , and cow horse training. Must be a self starter, dedicated to learning and open to constructive criticism. Must be 18 or over. May hold outside job. We can work around your schedule. Must be available for morning and evening feedings and stall cleaning (5 to 10 horses max). You may bring 1 horse and 1 dog. This is a NON- PAID Apprenticeship program to learn horse training from the ground up. Occasional ranch maintenance outside of regular barn duties will be paid by the job. How long you stay depends on your desire to learn. References required, no smoking, drinking, or drugs.
