🐾 We are hiring! We are currently taking resumes for an aspiring veterinary technician that would begin with on the job training to start as a kennel technician. Experienced techs/ nurses will also be considered. Must be trustworthy, accountable, personable, enjoy speaking to people, and have a desire to help animals. ❗️Please apply in person with resume and references to SRAC. Candidates applying through online means will not be considered.❗️ Bring resume by and request a interview in person. Interviews will begin immediately. This yellow Labrador was found on Agricola Latonia road Monday morning and we are trying to find its owners. If you recognize this dog, please call our front desk!! It has a microchip that has not been registered with any owner information. Please share!

A Good Samaritan client brought in a young yellow Labrador to our clinic that was found on Agricola Latonia road this morning. This dog is microchipped with no owner identification.

If this is your dog, please contact our front desk with the gender and collar color for identification.

We wrapped up celebrating our staffs hard work this week with some great apparel made by Susan Brocious with Blessed Designs and an incredible lunch by Melisa Hamilton with The Orchard House.

From the front desk, to the back with our veterinary technicians and kennel technicians, they make our patients feel loved and our job easier everyday and for that, we are thankful! This is just a little token of our gratitude to them 💕

We would like to welcome this coming June, Dr Charlsie Hicks who will be joining us to better serve the community and neighboring areas. We are excited to have her coming to join us at SRAC!

Dr. Charlsie Hicks is a native of Leakesville, Mississippi. She graduated from Greene County High School in 2017. For her undergraduate career, Charlsie attended Mississippi State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry in 2020. She continued her education at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she obtained her DVM degree in 2024. Charlsie is passionate about small and large animal medicine, reproduction, surgery, and herd work. In her spare time, Charlsie enjoys spending time with her family and going on walks with her dog Archer. Charlsie is excited to be joining the SRAC team this June.
