Bye bye list. I do not have pictures of each and every one of these. It’s a lot of rabbits and pictures take a lot of time. Ideally those looking to pick up locally will come ASAP and take their pics. But if you have to use transport I’ll take 1 pic of the rabbits you ask to see. For transport please have something lined up that can meet me in or near lucedale, MS or my own transport route for August Haulin’ Tail Transport. If anyone wasn’t to come out here local and can offer transport back in your direction let me know so I can let others know. Thanks for your interest.

I think it’s time for me to make the decision to “sell out” I want to keep some of my favorites back to breed still from time to time for my homestead. Fact is there are other things I need to put more focus on so I need to let something go. Rabbit showing it is. I’m at that point in my life, 21st birthday is just days away, my life has never been so busy and uncertain or stressful.
I’m not sure if this will be a forever thing or not. Maybe I’ll be back in the future? I may still pop into local shows for fun. Regardless, I still hope to be in contact with everyone through my transport business! Haulin’ Tail Transport and just as friends. I’ve made sooooo many connections in the last 6ish years and it’s been great for me and my growth.
Many many rabbits that need to go, cages, carriers, supplies that need to go asap. I’d make a deal if anyone wants the entire herd of a particular breed. But seeing as this is everything I’ve put all these years into, I’d like to get as much as I can back out of it to put towards the other aspects of my life. I hope for the blood, sweat, tears, and WELL OVER 10k that I’ve put into this that can be respected.
Local pick up in Lucedale, MS. I will hold free for my next run. Otherwise I’ll hold with deposit for up to 3 weeks. After that point I’m going to ask for a $15 weekly boarding fee until you’re able to pick up or I meet another transporter. I do not have pics of all these rabbits but I will compile a list and will get pictures on request.

In an effort to promote the breed and grow the community, I will soon be putting together a nice trio of Havana and doing and contest, winner will recieve the trio free of charge, my guidance, and a paid 1 year membership to the Havana breed club. This opportunity will be available to youth AND open breeders, the only requirements being that you currently do not own/breed Havanas, you intend to breed and show, and you have the ability to attain the rabbits either by local pick up or transport.
About Havanas. Havanas are a 4 1/2 - 6lb compact breed with a beautiful show presence. While they are not a cuddly breed, they are easy to handle on tables and generally enjoy being pet on. They have a very simple type and only five varieties (black, chocolate, blue, lilac, and broken), making them perfect for beginners to seasoned breeders who want a no nonsense breed. Despite their smaller size, they can have quite large litters. Anywhere from 1 to 14 (the most I’ve heard). My average is 6-8 per litter. They are known as the “Mink of the Fancy” because of their unique, mink like texture and beautiful luster. I got this breed a couple years ago and have absolutely fallen in love with them in the time I’ve had them. They deserve more love than they get!

Decided to let go of this jr buck as well. Could I come to regret it? Very possible, but I have one coming from nationals to replace him. Evan’s Wymack. He has one group leg. Great fullness of body throughout. An excellent head for his age. I only wish that his openness and shape of ear was better, he had better depth at his shoulder, and a stronger ankle. He’s otherwise a killer jr and will make someone a very nice addition.

Another jr buck that can go. I’m growing out his two other brothers because I like them a little more. He is still really nice. Very wide and smooth body. Full from shoulder to lower HQ. He is of course at the age where his head doesn’t look it’s best. He just needs to mature. Super nice density to his wool, great texture coming in. He’ll make someone a nice buck. He is out of GC Evan’s Zeus and RH’s CG2

Letting this jr buck go, which I will probably come to regret, but I have another promising chestnut jr buck and I don’t necessarily need both, but I could definitely use his cage space lol.
He is very nice. Great solid body. HUGE bone, lots of substance, so he may tip the scales a little. He has a short deep body. Only a couple areas that I’d like to improve for *balance* his type at this point is very good.

This is the loin I’ve been striving for. It might not be 100% perfect but it’s the best loin I’ve bred yet. He will be instrumental in improving the loins on the rest of my herd going forward. That’s the one area that I fee my Havanas could use a little work. It’s my goal to have a herd all with of full loins in 2 years or less.

Broken black jr doe. She peaks a little early. Very wide, pretty good depth. Would like to shorten her just slightly to pull it all together. Should make a decent show doe and an even better brood. SOLD
Broken black jr buck. Nice topline on this guy, good depth, would like just slightly better width. It’s slight and he definitely has the potential to fill out the rest of the way. Opting to keep his brother for now.
Broken black jr doe. The runt, she is very short and deep. Pretty nice topline. She needs time to fill out since she’s behind on growth.

Chestnut sr doe. 1 year old. Really nice doe overall. Lacking a little width in her loin and a bit round in her head shape. Excellent texture and ring pattern, short thick ears, deep and short body, very full HQ. Someone get this doe before my mind changes, I have far too many chestnut does. 😩
Rew jr buck. Cute little buck, short bodied. Little narrow but full HQ. Short ear, good shape to the head. Just needs more time to fill in
Rew jr doe. Bigger brood type. 2 1/2” inch ears. Deep bodied, thick bones, full HQ, wide shoulder, dense wool, great texture.
Chestnut jr buck. Good open ear. Wide bodied, I would like if he was just a little deeper, pretty good bone on him. Excellent length of wool for an agouti. Wool is now stripped.

This rew buck is ready to move on. I feel that he could use more width, mass, and a shorter shoulder. He has a very clean saddle and break, very nice Mane and skirt. Out of Woodcrest Farm lines. Goes back to 2 SS. Not going to ask a lot for this guy since I need him to move on asap.

My basic sales agreement that should always be read before inquiry or purchase. I may add more or refine this overtime, so check back each time you make a new purchase.
First come first serve basis. I do not hold UNLESS a 50% (or more) NONREFUNDABLE deposit is placed. Do not expect the rabbit, hamster or mice to be held for you if you simply inquire about it.
I have the right to refuse any sell at any time if I see fit.
I do not ship my rabbits, hamsters, or mice via postage, however I will work with a reliable transport. Transport must be arranged within 2 weeks! I typically don’t deliver long distance. No more than 25 miles radius of my location and only on days I am available. If you live a long distance you will either have to make the drive or wait for a day I can meet within reason. There will need to be arrangements made if that is the case. There will be a small additional $3 per extra mile fee if I have to deliver over the 25 mile limit. I have specific meet up locations listed in the pictures below. I prefer to meet at one of those locations. My trusted transporters are listed as well.
Like mentioned, To hold an animal a nonrefunable deposit must be placed. When placed I will hold for a maximum of 2 weeks. In that time the animal must be picked up or transport must be arranged and their spot paid for (If transport is on a later date I will hold until then). After 2 weeks, if the animal is still with me and no arrangements have been made, your hold will be canceled and the animal will be made available to the public again. If you would like to place a hold on the animal again, you must pay a deposit once more (also nonrefundable) and I will allow 1 week only for pick up or to arrange a transport spot.
Rabbits are up to a 12 year commitment and hamsters up to 4 years. In other words, they are going to require care and attention by a responsibly aged owner past Easter, Valentines, a birthday, etc. Consider, before an impulse purchase, if you or the person you are buying it for are ready for or want that commitment.
I do not sell my animals for meat or pelt. Pets, breeding, showing purposes ONLY. However I occasionally sell feeder mice.
Prices are non-negotiable. The prices I set are appropriate for the individual animal’s quality. All prices are final unless I decide otherwise.
The s*x of young kits are not always 100% guaranteed as it is difficult to tell with some. I do my best to be as accurate as possible but I can't guarantee I will always be right every time.
Rabbit kits are not given out until they are at least 8 weeks old, hamster pups not until they are 3 weeks, and Mice pups not until they are 3 weeks. No matter the experience of the buyer. This is for the animal’s well being. However they are reservable while weaning with a deposit of half their fee. The deposit can be refunded if the buyer decides to back out within a week (7 days). After a week it is nonrefundable.
If you decide you do not want a rabbit, hamster, or mouse you purchased from me, I will gladly take it back. I will not be able to refund you, but I can take it off your hands.
I am not financially responsible for anything that may happen to the your animals after it has been given to you. That includes any vet bills. To our knowledge our animals are sold in good health, but if it dies within 1 week of your purchase I may be able to offer you a 50% refund or an equivalent discount on a healthy replacement if I have anything available. I will not refund unless there is absolute proof from autopsy that the animals death was due to previous illness. (this does not apply to injuries or sickness contracted or caused during a transport. That will need to be taken up with the transporter)
While the rabbits, hamsters, and mice I breed are good tempered, I can't guarantee that they will never nip, scratch, or display skittish behaviors. Read on their behavior to have a better understanding of their nature as prey animals.
