🎉🐾 Happy Friday!
Yesterday, Dr. Bastiana had 8 of the cutest patients we've ever seen!
These little guys are Cane Corso's. They may be cute little wiggly potatoes right now, but they are going to grow up to be BIG! Once full grown, it's not uncommon for these incredible dogs to weigh over 100 lbs. 👀 They're an ancient breed, with lineage going all the way back to ancient Rome. "Cane Corso" roughly translates to 'bodyguard dog,' which is a great description of this breed!
But for now, let's enjoy the wiggles, mischief, and puppy breath. ❤

❤🐾 Today, we pause to honor the heroes of 9/11- both human and animal. The brave search-and-rescue dogs who worked in the aftermath remind us of the incredible bond we share with animals, and how they bring light even in our darkest days.

As a veterinary clinic, it's our privilege to care for these companions who give so selflessly. May we carry their spirit of loyalty, love, and service forward, building a tomorrow filled with kindness and hope.

The working dogs of 9/11 made contributions to rescue, recovery, and raising spirits during tragedy. Here are some of these remarkable dogs' stories.

Just a quick heads up- we won't have a veterinarian in the clinic tomorrow. That means no doctor visits for the day, but don't worry- we're still open if you need to swing by for food, meds, or other pet supplies.

📢 Updated Hours Alert! 🐾

Starting this week, our veterinary practice hours will be changing on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will be closing on Tuesdays at 7:00pm to allow for discharge for fur babies after surgery. Thursdays we will close at 6:00 pm.

We understand that schedules can be tight, so if the need arises, we may be able to accommodate later appointments in the future. Don’t hesitate to reach out and ask!
