This is what a sweet work family and amazing team looks like. To show his appreciation to his staff, Dr. Dean and Patti took their sweet staff out to a wonderful meal in Orange Beach at Acme Oyster House and the on to reward them with some new shades. After fervent prayer, God has opened a door for us at Magnolia Animal Clinic. We have been praying for more room and just asked God to show us the way.
As of August 1, 2024, we will become Southern Veterinary Clinic. We will be moving our location to George County Veterinary clinic at 15259 Hwy 613 Lucedale, MS 39452. After many years of dedicated service to his amazing clientele and staff, Dr. Karl Smith is retiring and moving to a new chapter in his life. He has entrusted and allowed Dr. Dean to take over the ownership role of George County Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Matthew Smith and his amazing staff will continue their journey with Southern Veterinary Clinic. We look forward to many years of service and knowledge he will provide Lucedale and the surrounding areas. You will see the same sweet faces you have seen for years from both practices.

On April 5-7th, we had our first ever annual team building workshop. We were so thankful to Dr. Dean and Patti Stringfellow for such a wonderful time away! During our stay at Orange Beach, we learned what it means to be a team and participated in many team building activities that allowed us to work together to accomplish a common goal. We at Magnolia Animal Clinic not only want to work dilligently to care for your fur babies but also want to build a sense of family.
