We will never stop shouting from the rooftops how important foster homes are. Shiloh came to us over 6 months ago completely shut down, scared of people and unable to be pet. He has grown so much at our shelter, but so much of his personality and comfort within himself and others has been unlocked living in his foster home with @madison.n.williams

2024 was a big year for our shelter. We were able to be a safe haven for so many animals in our community and renew their hope in humans. We are so grateful for our rescue partners and our transport partners who helped us relocate animals from the Luling area to brighter futures. We are so grateful for our volunteers, advocates, fosters, staff and community who have gone above and beyond this year! We can’t do all of this work without all of you! Thank you for all that you’ve done to help us continue our mission to help as many animals as we can! There were way too many wonderful animals to showcase in just one video!

Bindi is one of those dogs who you can’t help but melt when she’s around. She is a pocket full of sunshine ☀️ and love and wants nothing more than to be by your side. She came into Luling Animal Welfare Society as a stray and got scooped up by a foster right away where she thrived. She picked up so many amazing habits and was socialized with wonderful people. She is back at LAWS now and is becoming more and more amazing by the day 💜. Bindi is a 9 month old shepherd mix of some sort and she is an amazing size at 30 pounds. The love that Zani has received in the care of Luling Animal Welfare Society might be the closest she’s ever known to a family. She is a staple in our shelter family at this point, but we want more for her. Zani has had multiple opportunities in a foster home and has proven herself time and time again.
