Just realized we didn’t post about a second new buck addition to our group. 🥰

We added the lovely Permanent Grand Champion Morgan Crossing Jackson. We feel super lucky to have him and look forward to what he adds to our herd.

We had a pair of new additions yesterday. It was a bit of a rough week for us and mom gave us a break and had them at 3pm not am, she even waited until after the storm. Both adorable little doelings. 🥰

Currently have 8 does confirmed bred. 🥰

Also have 8 not confirmed. Slackers! 😂

They have until Dec 15th so crossing our fingers we add a couple more mammas to the mix.

LA State Fair is a wrap. 🙂

Twisted Trails Morrigan was reserve champion junior doe and Cherry Creek Ranch Catalina was reserve senior doe. 🥰🥰

We also welcome a new addition to our small farm, Jamba’s Pygmies Thunder Road 💙 thanks Pam! 🥰

Boo Bash, Longview show is a wrap. It was a very long day but was nice to see friends, old and new. We had 3 first time girls at the show and they behaved beautifully and did fairly well to boot. 🙂

Cherry Creek Ranch Catalina has always been a solid girl in the ring and was Show A Champion Jr doe and show B Reserve Champion Junior doe AND Reserve Grand Champion doe (basically 2nd of all does shown). 😍 Our best win yet.

Twisted Trails Faline was first and second in her classes.

Twisted Trails Morrigan was second in the first show and I think 4th in the second show.

Twisted Trails Nikki was 3rd in both shows I think. She was sold to a great home and we look forward to seeing her at the shows in the future. ❤️

Cherry Creek Ranch Harmonia was 3rd and 4th in her classes.

Looking forward to LA state in a couple weeks.

This weekend we welcomed our new livestock guardian puppy to the farm. 🥰

Oliver, or Ollie seems to be settling in nicely. 😊

His breeder has a couple more available if you are looking! 1/2 Akbash, 1/4 Great Pyrenees and 1/4 Anatolian Shepherd. Tagged above if interested.

Tales of Cherry Creek Ranch Little Ann.

6 weeks old in 2 days! 🥰

Named after the coonhound in Where The Red Fern Grows.

To say I’m surprised this girl made it 24 hours is an understatement. Sometimes goats temps are low and they just keep dropping and they slowly fade away. That was how it was looking with this girl. My partner stayed up until 4am keeping her warm. We gave her all the things we could possibly think of to help her, and it worked. She went from a very low 96 degrees to having the zoomies in a day.
Her mom actually belongs to a friend who didn’t think the mom was bred so we brought here here to try our luck only to find out she had indeed become pregnant. 🥰
Unfortunately for mom she developed mastitis and rejected Ann who had to be bottle fed. Mom and baby are both doing great now and Little Ann will be staying here with us and hopefully joining our show string this fall. ❤️
Just a reminder that sometimes it does work out.

Cat won Reserve Junior Doe and Faline was 1st in her class of 7!
