This is a good reminder for all dog owners especially brachiocephalic breed owners (English Bulldog, Frenchie, Pug, Boston, Boxer, Shih Tzu, etc).

Texas is hot in the summer and it can only takes a few minutes outside to cause heat stroke. This is a wonderful patient with a top notch owner. This guy was very lucky that his owner knows him so well and took immediate action. He is alive today because quick action was taken. Many times the outcome is not positive ❤️

So this old guy is in need of a new home. His owner is having to move to assisted living and cannot take her pets with her. He is very sweet and gets along with other dogs/cats. He’s a little arthritic in the hind legs (as are all older German Shepherds). Please think about giving this guy a chance. He doesn’t deserve to go to the pound.
