So, a little bit about me... My name is Amy and I am the Lead Trainer at The Dog Haus K9 Solutions. I have always had a passion for animals and dogs so in 2019 I decided to quit my 9am - 5pm job and pursue my passion! I graduated from the Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers in 2020 as a certified Canine Training Specialist. My goal is to help people have better relationships with their

dogs by helping them to learn how to communicate effectively, set healthy boundaries and have realistic expectations. 🎉 Congratulations, Misty! 🎉

This sassy little firecracker has officially completed her 4-week Board & Train! 🎓🐾 Misty came to us with a whole lot of opinions (and an even bigger bark! 😂), but with structure, consistency, and clear communication, she learned how to be a calmer, more balanced pup.

We’ve already heard from her family, and they say she’s a “completely different dog” (in the best way!). 🙌 While she still likes to test the waters, Misty was even able to go to work with her mom and stay calm, appropriate, and—most importantly—not constantly barking! 🐶✨ That’s a HUGE win!

We’ve loved working with Misty and are so proud of her progress! Big thanks to her wonderful family for their dedication to keeping up with her training. 💙🩵 Keep up the great work, Misty! 🎉🐾

When Winnie arrived at 9 months old, this sweet rescue pup was full of energy and excitement, like a little rocket 🚀. Found in a ditch as a puppy, she’s come such a long way during her 5-week Board & Train. Now 10 months old, Winnie is still her fun, excitable self but with the skills and foundation to be the best family member she can be. 🐾

Buddy came to stay with us this weekend, and it’s always such a joy to see him again! We offer boarding exclusively for dogs who have completed our Board & Train program, which means your dog receives personalized one-on-one care in a calm, structured environment—not a loud or chaotic facility.

Because we know these dogs and their training, we can maintain the same structure and rules they’re used to, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for everyone. Spaces are limited and fill up fast, so availability is subject to scheduling.

We love seeing our graduates again and giving them a home away from home! 🩵

Meet Rue!! 🥰 While Rue is undeniably cute, she comes with her own set of challenges that we’re here to work through during her Board & Train Program. Rue struggles with insecurity and anxiety, which have led to reactive behaviors—including a recent incident where she bit her groomer. 😬

Rue’s journey with us will be grounded in strong leadership, accountability, and structured routines, which are essential for her growth. Congratulations, Rue!! 🎓🥳👏 This spunky girl, who we affectionately nicknamed "Punky Ruester," graduated from our 4-week Board & Train Program this weekend! 🐾 Rue came to us with a mix of headstrong, pushy, and demanding behavior, combined with a lot of insecurity—a challenging combination that had led to some significant behavioral issues (including bites). 😬 Over the past month, we focused on creating strong boundaries, providing consistent structure, and building her confidence. With hard work, Rue has made incredible progress, and her fun, sweet side has really been able to shine through! 🥰 Now, Rue has a solid foundation in place, and her owner is ready to step into the leadership role and help her continue this amazing journey. 💪 We’re so excited to see how much bigger her world can be moving forward! 🩵 #thedoghausk9solutions

Today we took Walter to a local dog friendly restaurant, Rikenjaks, to test his skills out! 🤓 We specifically chose a time that was less busy so he could practice without getting overwhelmed in a new place!
