Good morning friends. Sam here, I wanted to update everyone on how I am doing. My wounds are healing so good. My family is taking such good care of me. They keep bringing me back here for treatment of my wounds but I like it here too( they give me lots of pets, hugs, and canned cheese 🤤) !
I caught sight of a squirrel 🐿️ this morning. He ran from me but I knew he wanted to play so I followed him…all the way into the “ swamp” as my mom called it. She had to give me a bath afterwards….I was none too fond of that but I had to look good for my other family today.
Thank you again to everyone who helped in my recovery..those who prayed for me, donated to help me recover, came to visit, and those who nursed me back to health. I am living my best life and think I am liking my new look.

~SHOW YOUR PET SOME LOVE THIS VALENTINE'S DAY 💘 AND EVERY DAY AFTER~

•APPOINTMENTS: Why wait until your pet is sick before seeing the vet? Instead, take your pet to the veterinarian for a routine check up ✔️at least once a year. This can help prevent and or detect issues early on. This also helps your pet become more social with other people and pets.

• VACCINES: Vaccines are important and vital to your pets health. Staying up to date can protect your pet from preventable illnesses. In most states, counties, or cities, a Rabies vaccine is required by law. 💉

• PROTECTION: Protect your pet from parasites 🪱 By using a veterinarian recommended parasite control all year around, your pet can be protected against intestinal parasites, fleas, ticks and heartworms.

• DENTAL: Keep your cat & dog's smile pearly white 🦷 by regularly using a pet safe tooth paste and by providing your pet with dental toys and treats. You can also book your pet a teeth cleaning/dental to help fight plaque.

Call or text us today and we can help you show your pet how much you love them! 409-755-6100 💕

WARNING ‼️. Some photos may be a bit graphic but Sam wanted to share how well he has been doing.

From Sam:

Good evening Southeast Texas, Sam here. Some folks have been asking about me. I’m home and living my best life. My wounds are looking so much better thanks to my Phovia UV light treatments twice a week. Doc says most likely I won’t need any more surgeries 🥳🥳 but I have to keep this silly donut 🍩 on my neck so I don’t chew at my boo boos. I have a mild cough … dang smoke 💨 … but it is improving too

My mom told Doc she only has 1 complaint about my treatment and care…. It’s that these fine folks spoiled me rotten.
Thank you from the bottom of my toe beans for all of your love and support. Without you all I would not be where I am now

Love and puppy 🐶 kisses 😘
Sam 🐾

Howdy Southeast Texas friends… Sam here ….I get to go home!!!! I mean Doc says I have to come back at least twice a week for treatments and surgery but I get to live with my family again.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for me and my family and for everyone who has visited me and helped with donations for my treatment. My family is forever grateful.
I love all my new friends at Main Street Vet ( especially my personal nurse Kadie Cherry 😍😍. Doc says I still have a few months to go but I can relax in my own bed because I have been the goodest and bravest boy!

Dearest Clients,

It is with deep sadness that we are announcing that Dr. Holly Wolfe will be leaving us to embark on a new adventure in her life. She will be moving out of state to sunny Florida! Her last day with us will be Wednesday, February 5th, 2025. While we are sad to see her go, we are happy for her as she moves onto the next chapter in her life and we wish her nothing, but the very best that life has to offer.

Please join us in saying goodbye to an incredible individual who has helped so many of our community’s beloved pets of all species. Her medical knowledge and specialty of many species has been crucial to animals of all kinds in our area from horses to pigs to pocket pets and many birds species, we have seen just about everything walk through our doors because of her. We are so grateful for her willingness to help as many animals as possible and for her devotion to her career in helping animals get exceptional care.

She will be so missed. Please feel free to share with us your favorite memories and/or photos of patients who Dr. Wolfe has seen.

Christopher was our first feline patient to receive the Phovia fluorescent light therapy. This sweet boy escaped from an apartment fire last week before the freeze and spent some time missing through the freeze suffering burns to all of his paw pads. His dad escaped with only the clothes on his back and really only has him left. We are treating Christopher and managing his wounds daily under Dr. Wolfe’s care.

If you would like to donate towards his care, please call our office at 409-755-6100 and/or Venmo who is working to help this sweet boy and his family. 🐈‍⬛

UPDATE on Sam’s skin graft! 🐕❤️‍🩹

Yesterday our dear boy Sam was our first patient to undergo a tilapia skin graft. We are, however, experiencing some hiccups because he has been a little extra frisky perhaps from feeling better so we are working through that. Please see comment section for a more graphic photo that perhaps could be censored by facebook due to the nature of the photo.

Fun fact: Tilapia skin is a dermal substitute that can help wounds heal faster and with less pain. It's rich in collagen, a protein that promotes tissue healing! 🐟

Hey 👋🏻. It’s me, Sam the wonder dog. Look how far I have come?? The doctors say that I have a long way to go still, starting with the first of my surgeries and grafting tomorrow. But GUESS WHAT??? I get to go home tonight to get spoiled and gushed all over by my mom and dad and family. I hope they have a lot of string cheese. I really like that stuff
Woof 🐶 woof 🐶
Thank you for keeping me and my family and caregivers in your prayers

Good morning. Some of you may know me already, but if you don’t, I am Sam. I wanted to thank you from the top of my ears to the bottom of my toes for keeping me in your prayers and all that have been able to help me in my journey. These doctors and nurses say I am making improvements every day but I am just sitting here enjoying my daily massages, sponge baths, and 5 ⭐️ cuisine. Have a great weekend and God bless you all !! Southeast Texas Strong!
