Howdy Southeast Texas friends… Sam here ….I get to go home!!!! I mean Doc says I have to come back at least twice a week for treatments and surgery but I get to live with my family again.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for me and my family and for everyone who has visited me and helped with donations for my treatment. My family is forever grateful.
I love all my new friends at Main Street Vet ( especially my personal nurse Kadie Cherry 😍😍. Doc says I still have a few months to go but I can relax in my own bed because I have been the goodest and bravest boy!

Dearest Clients,

It is with deep sadness that we are announcing that Dr. Holly Wolfe will be leaving us to embark on a new adventure in her life. She will be moving out of state to sunny Florida! Her last day with us will be Wednesday, February 5th, 2025. While we are sad to see her go, we are happy for her as she moves onto the next chapter in her life and we wish her nothing, but the very best that life has to offer.

Please join us in saying goodbye to an incredible individual who has helped so many of our community’s beloved pets of all species. Her medical knowledge and specialty of many species has been crucial to animals of all kinds in our area from horses to pigs to pocket pets and many birds species, we have seen just about everything walk through our doors because of her. We are so grateful for her willingness to help as many animals as possible and for her devotion to her career in helping animals get exceptional care.

She will be so missed. Please feel free to share with us your favorite memories and/or photos of patients who Dr. Wolfe has seen.

Christopher was our first feline patient to receive the Phovia fluorescent light therapy. This sweet boy escaped from an apartment fire last week before the freeze and spent some time missing through the freeze suffering burns to all of his paw pads. His dad escaped with only the clothes on his back and really only has him left. We are treating Christopher and managing his wounds daily under Dr. Wolfe’s care.

If you would like to donate towards his care, please call our office at 409-755-6100 and/or Venmo who is working to help this sweet boy and his family. 🐈‍⬛

UPDATE on Sam’s skin graft! 🐕❤️‍🩹

Yesterday our dear boy Sam was our first patient to undergo a tilapia skin graft. We are, however, experiencing some hiccups because he has been a little extra frisky perhaps from feeling better so we are working through that. Please see comment section for a more graphic photo that perhaps could be censored by facebook due to the nature of the photo.

Fun fact: Tilapia skin is a dermal substitute that can help wounds heal faster and with less pain. It's rich in collagen, a protein that promotes tissue healing! 🐟

Hey 👋🏻. It’s me, Sam the wonder dog. Look how far I have come?? The doctors say that I have a long way to go still, starting with the first of my surgeries and grafting tomorrow. But GUESS WHAT??? I get to go home tonight to get spoiled and gushed all over by my mom and dad and family. I hope they have a lot of string cheese. I really like that stuff
Woof 🐶 woof 🐶

Good morning. Some of you may know me already, but if you don’t, I am Sam. I wanted to thank you from the top of my ears to the bottom of my toes for keeping me in your prayers and all that have been able to help me in my journey. These doctors and nurses say I am making improvements every day but I am just sitting here enjoying my daily massages, sponge baths, and 5 ⭐️ cuisine. Have a great weekend and God bless you all !! Southeast Texas Strong!
