Dear clients,
After establishing and working at Lutherville Animal Hospital almost 38 years ago, Margot and I have decided to retire. We come to this decision with not only sadness and regret, but also excitement and optimism. What a wonderful ride it has been! I have joked with Margot that when I am older sitting in a rocking chair by the fireplace with an afghan wrapped around me, I would reflect back on my 5 or 10 favorite clients or 5 or 10 favorite pets, that we have had the pleasure to work with. However, the truth of the matter is that there are so many special owners and heartwarming furry, scaly, or feathered animals that we treated, that I could not possibly come up with a list. The number is endless. So we wish to thank you all for coming here as clients and allowing us to serve you .
Our last official day is April 19,2024. Drs. Hart and Dr. Ciattei will continue here, and we may fill in when needed around holidays or their vacation time. Unfortunately for our reptile and avian clients we will no longer be able to provide services. Dr. Hart will continue to see rabbits and other pocket pets such as Guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. Once again thanks for your loyal patronage and allowing us to perform our dream job. We will miss you and your pets.
Gratefully,
Ken and Margot Volk
