For anyone who doesn't know what an angora is vs a standard chinchilla. The angora chinchilla is a special breed. It's full name is the Royal Persian Angora Chinchilla. It has smaller ears and longer fur than a standard chinchilla. They are also more expensive to adopt than a regular chinchilla due to them being a special breed. The angora carrier carries the angora gene and are also a little more expensive than a standard chinchilla. At anytime if anyone has any questions feel free to pm us.

I've had alot of people contacting me about price and then not responding after they don't like the price point. I'm going to let everyone know I currently only have angoras and angora carriers which mean they carry the angora gene. My angoras start at $800. The angora carriers start at $400. Price increase is based off the color and coat of the chinchilla. I will accept payment plans for the angoras because I know they are more expensive. There is no thing as a cheap chinchilla. Most breeders for a regular standard the price is $300 and for the other colors can be upward of $800. Sure you can go to a petstore and get one for $200 or less, but you have no clue if they are inbreed and the care they have received and most end up with health problems that in the long run will cost you more money. When you buy from a breeder you won't have those types of problems. A chinchilla has to go to an exotic vet also which can be more expensive. We attended our 1st Empress Nationals Chinchilla show this weekend in Cincinnati Ohio. It was there 1st ever Angora show. We entered 4 of our angoras in the show. Venus our standard angora took class champion. Tina our tan white got 1st place. Belle our standard violet carrier got 2nd place. Atreyu our tov white got a 2nd place. Harvey our extreme mosaic angora carrier got 2nd place in the mutation show.

We are excited for our 1st show this weekend!!

The National Show is this weekend in Cincinnati. Angora Show and Standard Show on Saturday and the Mutation Show on Sunday. A weekend of chinchilla overload!

We have at least 4 breeders from the east and west coasts already on the road. It is going to be a lot of fun a lot of excitement.
