✨️ UPGRADE ✨️ DOG BRIDGE ✨️

This was a huge project, and we're really happy with how it turned out. We finished the build tonight, and we are excited to share our new and improved dog walk bridge! It's a beautiful focal point for our spacious play yard.

It's taller, so your pups can safely run underneath without having to duck down, especially when they're in zoomie sport mode. It's wider and longer, so more of our fur-iends can safely and comfortably share the space. We strategically spaced the deck boards for better drainage and longevity. Over the next few days, I'll finish the deck boards with grip paint to ensure safe traction for all of our fur-iends.

✅️ The propane tank is full. I started harassing my company a few days BEFORE the hurricane! I wanted my delivery to come as fast as possible so I'd be prepared for any future outages.

• I've already submitted a maintenance request for my generator. I don't want any surprises or unknowns.

• I've also requested pricing for a larger tank. I had more than half of a tank left and that could last me another week. I developed a good ration system, and now I'm more informed on what size tank I want and why 🤓

🌀UPDATE🌀We survived Milton!

An unbelievable amount of heavy winds and rain hovered over the property from approximately 930pm to 3am. We have fence damage, downed trees/limbs and unexpected property flooding. It's a tedious amount of clean up and honestly, I'm too tired today to get it done. With the help of our pawsome friends, the immediate issues were addressed. Thank you, Allie and Kristian 🩶

Our personal home also took a beating and we'll bandaid that as much as we can. It's hard to manage both places at once, especially two locations that require major cleanup and fence repairs.

My horse, Nova had a very rough night. He is safe and out grazing the property today.

The business location is currently being powered by our trusted and reliable Generac 💪

All in all, we were very lucky! All the dogs were champs yesterday and into today. Thank you for your messages and texts. We hope you and your families are safe! Prayers to the ones who were less fortunate.

Side Note: My husband found a baby squirrel in the debris and I'll be taking care of her until she's healthy, active, and ready for release 💕

It's extremely important for you (the client) to know that I had reserved a stall for my horse at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala. He also had a stall at another facility in Ocala. I was able to coordinate immediate help from a good friend, but the stress of strangers transporting him and the unknown while he's away from me was too much. This is real life. This is my life and my family member.

While I was coordinating his care, I kept getting client requests, and it made it impossible for me to physically go with Nova to get him settled into Ocala.

This job comes with A LOT of personal sacrifices, but this one is the most uneasy. After consulting with several horse experts, Nova will be left outside. He's tagged and marked. We will check on him frequently. I really could care less about the material damages. I very much care about his safety. I keep wondering if I made the right decision. I couldn't just send him away without me ... I know him. Please, big prayers for my buddy 💙

Hurricane Milton 🌀 is expected to make landfall in less than 24 hours. He is currently a Category 5. Heavy rain has started in Hillsborough County. I will keep you updated as much as possible. Reminder : We have a generator that can power our location for approx 2 weeks, including water. Please be mindful that I have a house full of dogs, including my own and my horse, to worry about. Prayers for us all 💙

🌀 Hurricane Milton 🌀 Like you, we are watching the updates. It's still too soon to determine its final path and strength. That being said, I am planning ahead to make things less stressful for everyone!

‼️CLOSED - Wednesday. All dogs need to be here by Tuesday. I will keep you updated via social media.

✅️ YES - I am taking a limited number of dogs. We are equipped with a large capacity generator, and we are in flood zone X.

‼️Existing clients will have first choice for reservations. This is why it's so important to have your pup established here. In the event of an emergency, I can tell you YES, and it's one less thing you have to worry about.

⭐️ If you're evacuating, make sure you have updated vaccine records, get your medication refills now, bring a crate (just in case), and have plenty of food. Make sure your pup is wearing a collar with their name and your CURRENT contact information.

📸 Take a current picture of your children and animals! Send them to your email address. If you lose your phone, you can still access your email remotely.
