I’ve never hatched Coturnix Quails before and a friend gave me 5 eggs that were on the floor of her pen for me to test my luck 🍀. Well out of the 5 eggs, one had an internal crack and another stopped developing. This 3 started hatching 🐣 yesterday evening. They are adorable 🥰.

Hi 👋! Can anyone help me to understand the Buff gene when it comes to whatever EB or Wheaton base means? I know is kind of related to s**t or not s**t, but I don’t have the knowledge yet to make sure of it. I know my main rooster was hatched without any s**t and fluff up to have a lot of it on the tail. I have another hen that’s kind of dark buff with slightly s**t on the rump of the wings, but barely noticeable.
Last but not least, I hatched some from shipped eggs that have shown no s**t and there’s one that seems to be a cockerel that showing like a very, very light s**t on the tail.
Any insights about this are very appreciated and Thanks.

The Maticoopx motor is impossible to replace. Nowhere to be found and I even emailed the company and their email is not available either. They only sale the plastic trays and hook for the trays to move.
I like this incubator, but not when basic things cannot be found.

I have a dark buff satin hen that comes from Millie lines, she’s split Millie dark skin. She’s paired with a buff Rooster that’s a nice type but has s**t. All chicks are buff and some hatched with stripes. Can I still use her in the buff pen?

First 20 takes them all.
I’d just test my hatching rate and out of 6 eggs one stop developing. So, their fertility is been well. 🤌

A new baby chick hatched 🐣.

Cleaning the chickies brooder. If you are like me, that uses puppy pads, remember to replace them every other day, because they start pecking on it and will stick to their toes while they poop 💩. If you don’t do this, getting it off their toes is difficult and the fabric of the pad can tide up onto their toes creating constriction and when pulling off, can take the toes skin off with it. So, avoid this at all cause. 😉

The mom hatched 4 on her own and this weren’t ready and took them in to hatch the. ❤️ Never gets old. Next are the silkie eggs that are to hatch soon.

This are some of the last hatches I got from my held back eggs 🥰.

This are some of the last eggs I incubate from my lines 😍. Probably keeping them all and one rooster 🐓. I believe will let go the rest that are cockerels. Will not know till 3-6 months old. So, they’ll be staying here 🥰.

Wanted to do a short video explaining that when eggs 🥚 are shipped, their airsacs and the actual eggs itself, will always get internally impacted for whatever reason. No matter how well they get packed. 21 days ago I put 18 eggs to test fertility. 15 of them developed and 14 of them hatched 🐣. Sadly, this is not the luck that we all have when received shipped eggs, because of the above mentioned. So, hatching your own eggs will always be giving you a higher percentage of hatchlings, due to lessers stressors and movement. I did hatch dry and added 3 egg that I wanted to test fertility from a pen and they are there. Wanted to clarify in case of those that like to judge 👨‍⚖️. So, will be moving them to another incubator and clean this one to put them back, because I love my Nurture 360. 😊
