Have anyone ever gotten wry neck suddenly from drastic temperature changes?

I got a chick that was fine and today neck was just awful. The only thing I can see different is that we’ve gotten drastic hot to cold temps in the past two days. The got vitamin in water and none medicated feed.

I did give him selenium today.

Those that I’ve gotten eggs or livestock through out the years, I truly do my best to reply in gratitude and never forget those that help and who helped me.
A couple tears/years ago I was need it to start from cero between moving and other life events, like many of us have.
Today, while waiting on the drive through I looked at my car keys and noticed I’ve still carry with me the love in a souvenir form what Miss Wright extended to me at those times. I only wish she’ll be back in business one day, because she was generous, humble and kind.

We are good 👍 lots of debris and several branches to pick-up, but all birds and house are well. We only had a bended fence at one corner of the house.

We are in the path of Milton. Started preparing all cages to love all birds inside, starting tomorrow. Chickens will be moved Tuesday, since we only have a very small handful of them. Sadly I have baby chicks and eggs in the incubator.
Am exhausted 😩 already and wishing for this to get weaker and that cold front to push it down and away. But is only a hope 🙏.

Am exhausted 😩! Today we did the NPip renewal and catching over 20 button quails in a 14 feet long aviary at 2pm with this heat ain’t fun at all! Two of the Kikirikis escaped the pen and that made it even funnier to catch those little ones 😅.

Forgot to post the pic of one of my latest hatches of Button Quails. I don’t hatch much, but hatched 9 of them and in just 2 weeks they look like this 😅. They grow so fast!
This one seems to be a normal, hopefully female💛🤞

The mom hatched 4 on her own and this weren’t ready and took them in to hatch the. ❤️ Never gets old. Next are the silkie eggs that are to hatch soon.

This are some of the last hatches I got from my held back eggs 🥰.

This are some of the last eggs I incubate from my lines 😍. Probably keeping them all and one rooster 🐓. I believe will let go the rest that are cockerels. Will not know till 3-6 months old. So, they’ll be staying here 🥰.

Wanted to do a short video explaining that when eggs 🥚 are shipped, their airsacs and the actual eggs itself, will always get internally impacted for whatever reason. No matter how well they get packed. 21 days ago I put 18 eggs to test fertility. 15 of them developed and 14 of them hatched 🐣. Sadly, this is not the luck that we all have when received shipped eggs, because of the above mentioned. So, hatching your own eggs will always be giving you a higher percentage of hatchlings, due to lessers stressors and movement. I did hatch dry and added 3 egg that I wanted to test fertility from a pen and they are there. Wanted to clarify in case of those that like to judge 👨‍⚖️. So, will be moving them to another incubator and clean this one to put them back, because I love my Nurture 360. 😊
