Keep your pets healthy and happy! 🐾
At Bliss Family Vet, we offer a variety of vaccines to protect your furry friends. Check out the list below to see the benefits of each!

🐩For Dogs:

1. **Rabies Vaccine**
Protects against rabies, a fatal viral disease that can be transmitted to humans. It’s essential for your dog's safety and required by law in many areas.

2. **DAPP Vaccine (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza)**
The DAPP vaccine is a cornerstone of canine health, providing essential protection against four major infectious diseases:

- **Distemper**: A serious viral infection that affects the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems.
- **Adenovirus (CAV-2)**: Protects against canine hepatitis, a virus that damages the liver, and also helps guard against kennel cough.
- **Parvovirus**: Shields against a highly contagious and often deadly virus that causes severe gastrointestinal illness.
- **Parainfluenza**: Helps prevent a respiratory infection that contributes to kennel cough and can lead to more severe respiratory issues.

3. **Leptospirosis Vaccine**
Protects against leptospirosis, a bacterial infection that can lead to liver and kidney damage and can be transmitted to humans.

4. **Bordetella Vaccine**
Helps prevent Bordetella bronchiseptica, a bacteria that causes kennel cough, a highly contagious respiratory disease. Often required for dogs in group settings like boarding or dog parks.

5. **Canine Influenza Vaccine**
Provides protection against canine influenza viruses (H3N8 and H3N2), which can cause severe respiratory illness in dogs. Useful for those frequently exposed to other dogs.

🐈For Cats:

1. **Rabies Vaccine**
Essential for protecting your cat from rabies, a serious and potentially fatal virus that can be transmitted to humans.

2.**FVRCP Vaccine (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia)**
The FVRCP vaccine is essential for protecting your cat from three major feline diseases:

- **Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR)**: Caused by the feline herpesvirus, this infection leads to severe upper respiratory symptoms, including sneezing, nasal discharge, and conjunctivitis.
- **Feline Calicivirus (FCV)**: Another key player in upper respiratory infections, FCV can cause symptoms ranging from mild to severe, including oral ulcers and respiratory issues.
- **Feline Panleukopenia (FPV)**: Often referred to as feline distemper, this highly contagious virus causes severe gastrointestinal problems and can be fatal.

3. **Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) Vaccine**
Protects against FeLV, a virus that weakens the immune system and can lead to serious health problems, including cancer. Highly encouraged for cats that go outside.

🐾For Ferrets:

1. **Rabies Vaccine**
Essential for protecting your ferret from rabies, a serious and potentially fatal virus that can be transmitted to humans.
