Never thought I’d ever be having a nail day for my quail….yet another reason why I prefer to have my quail on the ground in avairies. Even with a sand side in their hutch some of my hens had extremely long nails. I just added a concrete step into their sand side hoping that’ll help prevent the issue from recurring.

Whoops!! I may have made too many quail chicks. Lots of colors to choose from as well as a separate batch of true blue celadons.
