An Important Update:

January 28, 2025

Dear Clients & Friends of Southern Maine Veterinary Care,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I will be leaving Southern Maine Veterinary Care in order to pursue career goals elsewhere. Please know that this was a decision that was incredibly difficult for me and was done with an abundance of love and consideration for everyone on the team and you.

My last day of service will be 1/31/2025. Until then, I will be more than happy to continue to provide care for you. After that time, I am confident that Dr. Lynch & Dr. Schuld will continue the same standard of care that we strive to achieve as a medical team.

I have greatly enjoyed serving this community and will forever cherish the memories I have made here. The human animal bond is the reason why I became a veterinarian and it has been a privilege to help enhance that very special relationship for all of you throughout my time here and celebrate it with you.

I wish you all the best and will carry you, and this community, always in my heart.

Sincerely,
Dr. Sarah Anne Bishop, DVM
