We had a great time at the OTCH show this past weekend. Sylvie was Reserve Best in Show under the amazing Judge Tami Hayden. River won breed twice G3 and G4. I didnt get many pics.

Thank you Claire mccabe and Linda Andersén Garretson for handling River for me when he and Sylvie had to go in together! ❤️❤️

We're so honored that Scarlett recieved the United Poodle Association's Top Producer Elite award as well as Total Top Producer.

The Elite award requires a female to be health tested and have 8 UKC Grand Champion offspring- Scarlett has 9. Six grands, an Emerald Grand, a Ruby Grand and a Diamond.

The Total Top Producer requires one UKC Performance Champion as well. Scarlett has 4 - 3 in weight pull and one on rally and Obedience.

We're so thankful for those that had faith in our dogs and showed them in conformation and performance sports! ❤️❤️

Most of our puppies go to pet homes. We're equally thankful for you! More than anything we want all of our puppies to be happy, healthy and loved! ❤️❤️

We did our 5K AKC Turkey Trot walk with River and Sylvie tonight. It was a nice walk around the lake. Im pretty happy with 2.8 miles an hour considering up and down hills and stopping for cars. 😀

Good morning! Some of you are waiting for news of our Fallon breeding. We are so excited for this litter that we began serious fallon watch in mid September although she wasnt really due to come in season until mid- October. Of course shes running a little late. Her amazing guardian, Melissa, is doing daily checks and im running over there at least once a week.
We have a live cover planned with a fabulous stud that i cant wait to announce.
Please continue to check in as often as you like! I know you're as excited as we are!

I was so wrapped up in prettying the dogs up for TDI Therapy Dog testing tonight that I almost forgot our beautiful matriarchs birthday!

Scarlett is 9 today!

What a blessing she's been. Shes been a working therapy dog herself, shes excelled at so many sports and in conformation. Shes given us 3 Champions, 6 grands, an Emerald, a Ruby and a diamond! Shes won Best and Reserve Best in Show in Regular, Altered and Veteran. She was on the top 10 in 2018 and 2019. She is happily retired now. Still living with us of course and Keeping us all straight. 😊❤️

Were home from 5 fun days of showing.

River was entered in two days of the James River Kennel Club AKC show in Salem. On Thursday, under Judge George Marquis, River was Best of Opposite for another point to his Champion title. I did get a Professional pic, coming soon.

We left there on Thursday and ran to the UKC show in Athens where Sylvie won the large grand class twice, Reserve 3 times, and was Best of Breed once Group 3. She has been the Group 3 queen lately. 😄 River was only entered in 2 days. No love. Lots of amazing grands.

Fun weekend at HRKC! We took Sylvie entered in weight pull and conformation, River entered in WP, Conformation and nosework, Jess entered in WP. I am so proud of every one of them!

Sylvie won breed 5 of the 6 shows with three Group 3 and two group 4 in a lovely line-up of gun dogs. She earned 125 points towards her WP Elite Champion title as well as THREE "Most Weight Pulled Per Body Pounds" in the "B" division. First time shes pulled that off. "B" division is tough. She earned Three "Total Dog" awards for the weekend.

River had some steep competition in the Grand class as well as the rest of the breed. He won the grand class and Best of Breed for one emerald leg. Three Reserve Grand Champion wins. He was entered in two nosework runs and qualified in both. With q's in all the novice elements hes earned his NN (nosework novice) title. This was his first try at weight pull. He had three qualifying pulls for his UWP title and earned points towards his champion title. He also earned three Total Dog awards this weekend.

Jess normally comes along for the ride, but this time we decided to bring him out of retirement and get the three pulls he needed to end his career with ONE HUNDRED pulls and an AP10. Since he has already earned the highest weight pull title, we arent working for points, so he only had to pull 10 times his body weight which is pretty easy for him. He did it in 4 seconds. Lol. Jess will be 10 in February.

Thank you, THANK you to all the judges who pointed to our dogs in the conformation ring, as well as those who judged performance. Thank you club for all of your hard work. As always thanks to my amazing husband who handles the dogs in weight pull and makes everything happen, thank you to Grace for handling River when he and Sylvie were in the ring together, and thank you Cindy and Randy for feeding us and just being the best friends and show buddies.

Weather was fabulous. Hanging with friends and dogs amazing. Camping was fun. It was just a great weekend!

JuJu's adorable head tilt when im reading her mind. 😄❤️

She, Ivy, Fallon and Sylvie all had their yearly physicals. All are well except Sylvie who wont stop licking a scratch on her foot. I love when the vet compliments our ears and teeth!
