River is chasing single points in AKC. We went to Doswell for two days of their show. He turned one on Saturday and has to be cut out into a Continental so I only did the days that he still shows in a puppy cut because he'll need more hair for the grown up hairdo.

On Friday he was Best of Winners, Best of Breed Owner handler under Judge Victoria Jordan. Thank you Judge Jordan! Owner Handler Group 4!

We had such a fabulous time at the United Poodle Association's Poodle specialty at Premier.

Sylvie was the Reserve Grand Champion in the huge class of 18 Grands under judge Diana Allen. I'm so very proud of her. Although she's a small girl, her stunning movement gets noticed. I'm always honored to be on the other end of her leash. Shes had some amazing accomplishments in her young life. She's earned the highest Conformation title, Diamond Grand Champion, and is more than halfway towards earning the highest weight pull title. As far as I know she'll be the second Poodle to earn it. Her sire, Jess is the first. She is also titled in obedience, rally, nose work, coursing. Sylvie is always ready to do anything I ask of her. She has really been a dream come true.

River got some good looks from the judge and was awarded an Award of Merit from Judge Marian Campbell with Jr Handler Finley Halley. Hes going to do some great things with more maturity. He's looking good but he'd definitely rather be playing ball. Puppies. 😄 River turns one this weekend. Where did the time go. He has two more shows as a puppy then we'll be cutting him into the Continental pattern.

We're home from Premier. What a fun and busy weekend. Sylvie and River were Entered in the United Poodle Association Poodle Specialty. Sylvie in Top 10, Both in conformation Friday and Saturday. Sylvie lure coursing and weight pull.

In the huge Specialty class of 18 Grand Champions, Sylvie was Reserve Grand Champion to the Best in specialty winner under judge Diana Allen. She made the cut in two other shows. River made the cut in all but one show and received an award of merit from judge Marian Campbell. Thank you judges for seeing our dogs.

Sylvie loves some lure coursing and earned her CA coursing ability title. She maxed out on weight pull all three days and earned 90 points towards her elite title.

The United Poodle Association had a fun meet and greet Friday evening and gave special awards for the Poodles that had qualified in sports. Sylvie was a recipient of one of those special ribbons honoring Poodles that do more.

Thank you Misty Ann for your help with Rivers top knot and for all of your support as always. On Saturday, after the very long multi grand champion class, I was beat. The lovely Jr handler, Finley Halley, offered to take River in, and handled him to his AOM. She did an Amazing job and has a bright future as a show dog handler!! Thank you Finley!!

We took a super fun Rosette making class with Michele Harvey . Thank you Michele!! My multicolored ribbon commemorates Sylvie's recent Diamond Grand Champion title.

It was a fun weekend! It's good to be home.

Fun news of the day. Today River hit the top 10 after only his second weekend of showing. ❤️ His Champion title was also confirmed by UKC. He has since earned his grand and one leg towards his emerald title, but it takes a while to be recorded.

Last weekend we enjoyed the Amazing Aiken Showcase Dog Show by the Carolina Dog Society, Tarheel Canine Performance and the North American Mudi Alliance. Thank you all for an fabulous show. The venue, Stable View, is just breathtaking. We camped on site and everything just ran so beautifully smoothe.

We took Sylvie, entered in conformation and precision coursing, and River, entered in conformation and rally. Jess went a long for the ride.

Sylvie was Best of Breed 5/6 shows with 4 Group 1 and 1 Group 3 placements. Thank you wonderful judges Mary Lynn Jensen PhD, Tracy Kallas, Julie Hatlas- Pepper, Stan Matsumoto and Rick Gann. She was awarded Reserve Best in Show TWICE this weekend with huge thanks to Judges Tracy Kallas and Tami Hayden.

Pending UKC Confirmation Sylvie is now a Diamond Grand Champion!

She also ran precision coursing for the first time. She is a sporty girl and we had no doubt she'd happily chase the bunny. She earned her novice and advanced titles as well as Three total dog awards for the weekend. This was a qualifying event so she'll be invited to the next Total Dog Invitational.

River had an amazing weekend also. The champion class was packed with 5-7 champions during the weekend, and he won the class three times as well as Best of Breed TWICE in a large entry of 12-14 standard poodles. Thank you Judges Mary Lynn Jensen PhD, Stan Matsumoto and Rick Gann!
Pending UKC Confirmation, these wins completed his Grand Champion title at 9 months old. ( He turned 10 months the day after the show. 😁)

I entered River in Four Rally trials. Trial 1 score 97 third place
Trial 2 score 95 3rd place
Trial 3 score 98- three way tie for first place so it came down to time, which he came in second by one TENTH of a second! 😄.
Trial 4 a perfect score of 100. First place.
Crazy, CRAZY!

River earned two total dog awards for the weekend and has qualified for a spot at the invitational.

This was a weekend for the ages. Best fun ever!

Thank you Amanda Bishop , for taking River in the Ring when he and Sylvie were in together!

Of course, and as always, none of this fun would happen without my amazing husband, Greg, who even had to take River in the ring a couple times when he had to be in the same time as Sylvie. ❤️❤️❤️

Also all the thanks to Mary and Maddy Lacy who watch Scarlett, Ivy and JuJu for us and make these trips possible!! ❤️❤️
