Meet Yeti! 🐾♥️

Yeti is a 5 year old purebred German Shepherd who loves napping on his owner's bed, popping bubbles, and running around splash pads. He has been dearly loved by his current owners who have had him since he was only 6 months old and is a loveable teddy bear to their kids. This protective nature unfortunately led to an incident where he bit a neighbor who approached one of their kids on their property and unfortunately he cannot continue to live in their neighborhood. He follows basic commands, is potty trained, and is crate trained. He would benefit from intentional training with his new family to develop a deep, trusting bond. He is a devoted companion and a velcro dog who just has a couple quirks with a side of anxiety but is truly the best dog ever. He is not friendly with other dogs.

This Market benefits the support and building of our new animal shelter in Campbell County for the Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. Here's what to expect...

🐰 Peter Rabbit will be present for professional Easter Bunny pictures $35 for 6-8 portraits. YES! You have the option to take pictures yourself. There will also be face painting.

We had a great time yesterday at Bingo for BARCC Fundraiser! If you’ve never heard of BARCC please check them out! They’re working so hard to raise money for a new shelter for Campbell County! Can’t wait for the next Bingo event!

A huge thank you goes out to the Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter, Inc. Patti McGovern set aside some of her time to assist in our search for a shelter dog with qualities and capabilities to become a service dog.

Mac certainly was a stand out and was impressive for the length of time in the shelter. He’s quiet, calm, intelligent, house-broken, and already knows foundational obedience. The only reason he was not selected for the position is due to age. If anyone is searching for a rockstar of a dog, stop and go visit him. He is up to date on a vaccinations and all adoption fees are covered.

Meet Agatha! A beautiful and sweet Rottweiler!

She’s a 1 year old, spayed and update on vaccines. Due to no fault on her own the current owners are seeking to rehome her. She is good with kids, other dogs, however do not recommend cats with her. Loves to play ball. She has gone through our two week board and train program. Has all obedience, off leash training and crate trained.

Bad news travels fast and worse news even faster. This morning we are asking for your prayers for the family of Sgt Mark Butler. This hero made the ultimate sacrifice stopping a wrong way driver during a high speed pursuit.

Andrew had the pleasure to instruct Mark and train his K9 (Hulk) before they graduated back in late 2020 and went back home to Texas.

Another round of Puppy Pre-school is complete! These four worked hard for 6 weeks working on their socialization, confidence in public, sit, down, stay and come. We’re excited that two will be returning in January for our Board and Train program to work on advancing their skills. Congrats everyone!
