This horse had many up’s and downs in her battle with a severe foundering case that came close to ending her life but were finally out of the woods. While she suffered from coffin bone rotation with diligent daily care from her owner and a good trimming schedule this mare is going around sound again.

Our dry summer has been extra rough on horses already prone to brittle hooves. Luckily with proper trimming those hooves can be brought back to life. Getting some moisture back in this hoof and some regular scheduled trims will have this mare doing much better.

I promised updates on our navicular case. Before photo is from 3 or so cycles ago. We have HEELS now 🥇 Ghost is now so much more comfortable that he’s 100% sound and comfortable living his life barefoot! He started out having to live in scout boots 24/7 just to make his life somewhat bearable.

Big progress on a foundered pony!!! Now to keep addressing the heel angle that is still a bit and high and we’ll have a hoof on the mend!

Was a lovely day taking some extra training time to help an owner get to the mind of this 3 year old gelding to get him settled while driving nails. Sorrel man started out antsy and uneasy about the extra pounding and ended on the note of standing like an absolute💎 GEM 💎
