Announcing new Saturday drop in classes at Skagit Valley College. These classes will be at various buildings on campus. Class start time 11:00 a.m. Dogs must be proficient with the odors of Birch, Anise and Clove.

Well look what the Jaeger dogs found! Photos from a recent class at the NW WA Fairgrounds. Jurassic Park night! No dogs or dinosaurs were harmed in the class. Hanging out with my students at yesterday's AKC trial hosted by Chuckanut Dog Training Association at the Skagit Valley Fairgrounds. It was a good weekend of trialing successes! Celebrating are (from left to right) Patti and Griz, Melissa and Cricket, Kathy and Douglas and Michele and Gino, and I (Chris) next to Eli on the table.

Looking for fun?

Announcing my upcoming Foundations 101: Intro to Nosework. This class will start on Tues. April 16 at 6:30-8:00 p.m. It will be held at Tractor Supply in Lynden, WA. We will have access to their upstairs classroom as well as their interior and exterior areas for training. The class is an 8 week course, and the tuition fee is $150.00. Eli, My Co-Instructor is now a year and a half old already! Time has sure gone by quickly. What have we been doing?
Well....

Completed two ORTS (Odor Recognition Tests)

Competed in 5 trials....NACSW NW1, AKC and UKC and also
2 SDS (Sniffing Dog Sports)

Attended Puppy AKC Good Citizen and also Canine Good Citizen, and Pet Partner Evaluations.

Hall monitor for 19 year old cat Ginger, and lounging buddy with 12 year old senior retired AACR lab Pongo.

We are laying a good life foundation. Lots to learn and build on. At 76 pounds, Eli is excited about life and our next adventure.
