Morgan and Bella are sweet comical Golden Retrievers that I'm walking twice a day while their Mom enjoys a European cruise. Their home enters into a foyer with stairs leading up to the main floor. After this afternoon's walk, Bella played dead to avoid trudging up the stairs. 😆 I was "unable to revive her" (lost the battle) and ended up leaving her to lounge in the entryway.

I haven't posted in forever and a day because business has been hoppin'! Here's a quick update. Meet Finnie and Pixie, two very gentle Whippets who I'm caring for while their Mom travels. They're a little leery of me on this first visit, but I'll win them over. I always do!

Check out this scrumptious little gremlin! Prince is a 9-week-old Bernadoodle puppy, who lives right in my neighborhood. His family sought my help through the "puppy package," which includes two visits a day for $30. They're both teachers and they have three kids, so the whole family is away at school during the day. Sashi and Elsa are new clients who belong to a family for whom I also provide babysitting. The family is out of town for a few days, so I go over 3 times a day to let the dogs run in their expansive yard, and replenish their food and water. I also feed the fish and turtle.

I just learned that my client, a little Shih Tzu named Coco, has suddenly passed. My heart has broken a little for the loss and for her Mom. She's battled neurological disease for some time but was thought to be nearly cured. This is the only photo I have, not very good, but I will always remember her. Until we meet again, sweet Coco.

What it's like to walk a 4-month-old puppy

Maybe I should change my biz name to Wagging Tails....

It's been a frigidly cold, snowy week, but I was out there walking dogs every day! It wasn't that bad - I just bundled up and buckled down. And now a warm cozy weekend begins.

Koda and Scarface - friends since puppy hood

Little Maxie is still so scared, but we're improving a little each time. He came from an Amish puppy mill - atrocious places - so who knows what they did to him in his first two months of life. Gaining his trust will be process. But he sure is squishy.

Kinnie can keep himself entertained....

Reunited...and it feels so good! Kinnie & Tuna play the days away. Tuna arrived last night and is a regular when her family vacations. She's part of the fam. I also check on her 3 kitty siblings every other day.
