is a local animal organization that serves many counties within New Jersey and tries to change our world - for the better. It's been over 20 years since a fire devastated our East Rutherford facility and we're in full swing now at 221 Stuyvesant Avenue in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. We invite you to come in and meet all of our wonderful pets for adoption.

And to enable their memory to help other pets in need, we have established a

Memorial Bridge for the month of March.

For a $10 donation, we will display your pet’s name and image on the

Rainbow Bridge on our office wall. The image of that memorial will be regularly

Our Story

For over forty years we have been serving our local community, re-homing pets of all types and educating the public. We are a 501(c)3, non-profit organization with a very small paid staff, a volunteer Board of Directors, and several volunteers. Our store front/ shelter called Kindness Korner is located in the heart of Lyndhurst NJ.
