We’re located in Lyons, Georgia, and have been hit hard by Hurricane Helene, with hopes of being spared by the approaching Hurricane Milton. Despite the challenges, we want to extend a helping hand to those in need. Although we’re still without power, we have space available for horses and can provide accommodations for anyone needing a place to stay. We also welcome RVs and campers if you’re searching for a “hopefully” safe spot. Please reach out if you need a place to go.

The storm hit us hard. Thankfully, all humans and animals are safe🙏🍀🙏, though the ranch itself has taken a severe beating, leaving us all in shock.

We were incredibly lucky that none of the trees or the partially torn roof of the arena fell on our living quarters. A fallen tree grazed Sandra’s house, yet, miraculously, the damaged roof held up under the weight of the limbs, and no one was injured. Steel and concrete poles, however, were torn from their foundations and crashed through the arena roof. The steel poles of the covered arena bent as if made of rubber—it truly resembles a war zone.

Currently, we are without power, but fortunately, we had the foresight to buy a generator last Wednesday. Like many in our community, we're facing these challenges head-on and praying that everyone is okay and staying strong. 🙏

We are still trying to grasp the full scope of what’s happened and are in the process of assessing all the damage, but we remain hopeful.

This afternoon, we had the wonderful opportunity to introduce the Mustangs to some amazing ladies who traveled all the way from Atlanta. We feel incredibly fortunate! There are more exciting experiences to come 🙂
